Sadly, compassion is not a one sided response. While many may believe just opening the front door and ushering them all in... The Bible is quite clear on what our Christian response should be: “The LORD detests the way of the wicked but he loves those who pursue righteousness” (Proverbs 15:9; see also 28:5; Psalm 5:4–5). When we condone criminal activity where people blatantly and habitually violate the laws of our government, we no longer “shine like stars in the universe” (Philippians 2:15). The Bible makes it clear that those who violate the laws of government are in sin, as are those who support or assist them in breaking the laws (Romans 13:1–7; 1 Peter 2:13–14; Titus 3:1–2).
We must allow them a new start. However this must be done in accordance with the laws of our land and not compromised or stolen. And that's where I believe many are okay with immigration. If it is done legally by due process.
And if the law is unjust, unworkable, and violates the principles of hospitality and compassion commanded us by God?
You don't know compassion if you don't know Christ.
Satan masquerades as an angel of light and his workers as workers of righteousness. Pastor Steve is right on the money and you are very naive. When America falls, global Christian persecution begins, and remember where you were today and how you spoke. You along with many others here had a hand in it, as you rolled out the mat for an American invasion in the name of "compassion". Have some compassion for America for her children for her returning warriors, for her existing poor. Have compassion on the people of the world in their homelands.

So many strugglers commenting here, and they don’t even seem to realize it.
You can waste as much money as you like. We will always win and your god will always lose.
God does not lose! HE may allow us as Christians to lose for his greater purpose but believe me --God will be the victor in the end.

That’s the first thing I thought when I saw that picture! Although I don’t think looking at her would turn anything to stone…

Why even have him on the show? He said something dumb, and now he has to be a big boy and deal with the consequences. Welcome to free speech, sometimes it has consequences. Maybe now that he’s unemployed on Monday nights he can use the spare time and pick up a history book, preferably one on Hitler.
Gretchen didn’t want to be associated with such ignorance, good for her. We’re supposed to be better than the lefties, not applaud those that are imitating them.

Both of these days have been outstanding. I’m glad I decided to subscribe to GBTV, and look forward to more events of this type.
