To have published this article without divulging the question to which Mr. Romney was responding is a disservice to your readers, the truth in context, and Mr. Romney. “…my job is not to worry about these people” in the context of a campaign strategy is entirely different from “…as a candidate for the White House, “my job is not to worry about these people.”

Mr. Cathy said he and his company supported family values and traditional marriage. One can do that and still support alternatives to same sex marriage. I do not want to redefine marriage. What I entered into with my wife predates this push for “marriage equality” by eons, and I want to maintain the essence of that relationship. Same-sex marriage proponents should work to pass legislation for federally sanctioned policy of civil unions. Same with the Boy Scouts. Don’t try to change them, just start your own organization.

The police should charge them with elder abuse. I was a middle school teacher. This happened to a teacher friend who had taught 33 years. They really go after us old ones.
