Salvatore, you’re off your rocker. AND you are insulting millions of people of faith by crapping on Liberty University? Just a clue for you, Sal, there are many classes that are mandatory that have speakers of all kinds come through and speak to the students. That doesn’t diminish the speaker’s message one bit. And the applause? The cheering and clapping and standing ovations? Were those mandatory as well?
You are a moron with an agenda, and I cannot believe that the Blaze actually posted your crap.
No, the author of this article made it pretty clear.....Convocation at Liberty is not optional...Therefore, it was a very poor decision by Cruz to use the mandatory student event as a backdrop to his political rally.

I would feel very sad for my friend who obviously is separated from the love of God and has no hope for eternity. Then I would share my heart for this friend to find forgiveness in Jesus and join a relationship with God.

Total crap, Chris!! The Congress has been advising Obama not to deal with Iran since they found out these secret talks were underway. The WH has turned a deaf ear to the responsible adults in the room, so they found a way to express to Iran that the things Obama says are not set in stone.
Forget what it makes Obama look like, it is preserving the integrity of the US around the world. If Barry made an agreement that the Senate rejected, who knows what Iran would do with that situation? This is merely keeping things out in the open for everyone to be on the same page.
Duddio, I expect better from the GOP than to lower themselves to Ted Kennedy's level. How is the GOP standing up to Obama by running to Iran's skirts to stand up for them? The GOP couldn't stand up to Obama on the DHS funding fiasco...Iran sees that. Do you think Iran is intimidated by the GOP who can't even stand up to Resident Obama? The solution is to battle him at home, not ask foreign nations to fight Obama.
Hes not wrong in believing the Repubs should be doing something "face to face" to stop obammi!

So, Ben, what do you say to the pedophile or beastialist that say they have no choice over their desires or attractions? You tell them they weren’t made that way, it is not natural, and they need to be healed from their aberrant desires.
That is the entire message of the Gospel.

I think Walker IS the Establishment’s pick. Jeb is a sideshow, and he will never get past the GOP grassroots. When Jeb crashes and burns, watch how quickly the Establishment will appear behind Walker. He will support some form of amnesty and immigration reform, and he won’t secure the border any more than George W did.
Also, watch for Romney to throw his support and money behind Walker.
Could be, but I have my doubts. Remember how after the election the mainstream media did all sorts of puff pieces on Romney? I really think he's still in the game. And of course Jeb thinks he owns it because of his family, so I'm betting on one of those two, or maybe a ticket with both.
I could see one of them picking Walker as VP though. He'll be in their pocket and ready to throw under the bus when they lose like they did to Ryan. Can't blame it on the big dog after all.

I’m of two minds on this. He doesn’t react until she rubs up against his behind. Maybe he felt violated, feeling she had created a hostile work environment for him?
On the other hand, he may just be a racist, feeling that this uppity white chick was over-stepping her place by stepping on his stage and touching him. He obviously held a LOT of disdain for her.
I think the Crips are a black gang and don’t mix with hispanics. Unless they are now joining forces against ‘whitey.’

I read that and thought of the video I saw of a woman being repeatedly beaten in her own home by a robber, and she was complying with everything he said. She was brutalized, but she said she was trying to keep him from focusing on her toddler and just hit her instead.
I wish the video had been of her shooting the thug dead. I will NEVER comply with a criminal!!!

Absolutely not. We have tried the incremental approach the last two presidential elections, and it killed us. Ted Cruz is the Conservative we need, and it needs to be a full-court press as soon as he announces.
 January 5, 2015 at 4:03pm
The establishment is always cutthroat with their own party, especially conservatives, but with the opposition, it is all bluster and posturing and drinks together after the show. I hate the GOP!
God bless Gohmert!

The problem comes in when the test asks questions on subjects that have not been taught to the student. Our high schoolers faced the same problem with math. Math problems they had not been oriented to were on the test.
If this 10 year old had never been taught how to find themes through the characters or speaker in a story or poem, how do they expect her to answer? She should just google it?

Yes, you CAN control what goes through your mind all the time. That is the very definition of “taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5
When a sinful thought tries to enter your mind, you cut it off and reject it, as not coming from your own desires. Pretty soon, they stop coming along because there is nowhere for them to land. This is part of being transformed by the renewing of your mind that Paul talks about in Romans.
Apart from the Spirit of God, man is at the mercy of the flesh, the world, and the devil. In Christ, we are dead to sin and sinful thoughts and desires. It’s one of the main tenets of Christianity.
That’s why accepting sinful desires as normal for a Christian even though not acted on, is still a failed faith. Jesus died to set us free from evil desires, not make peace with them or white-knuckle it through and try really hard not to do bad.
See, where open carry is legal, there is usually one level-headed cop in the bunch that will initiate dialogue without freaking out.

I can’t believe that all the commenters on this thread watched the same video. If the cops rolled up on me that fast and said, “Drop your weapon!” and “Put your hands up!” at the same time, I might have tried to pull the gun out to drop it as fast as I could. I’d be dead.
This was a mush-headed kid. Cops created a deadly situation without knowing the full situation. 911 should have passed on that it might be a fake gun, and cops should have approached more cautiously.
The cop hadn’t even stood up out of the car fully before he was shooting, and it didn’t look like the kid had any time at all to react. Sad, sad situation. This is manslaughter at the very least.

You are a fool. What you are saying is that until a child can understand the concept of death, and what it means, that they are not human. That is a ridiculous assertion. Every species has a period of vulnerability that requires the mature of the species to care for them until they can care for themselves.
And to say that babies in the womb do not have a human mind is sheer ignorance. They dream, they show emotion, can experience pain. They are alive, and they are real. You are a fool.

Right. This teen was so hot for the 45-year-old that she had to lie to daddy about their ‘love’.
You are a sick bastard.

Well, the man did not make it to the City of Refuge in time. Look it up. In the Bible.

Yes, actually, you can. That’s what the Hobby Lobby win at the Supreme Court was all about. A closely-held corporation or business can reflect and operate under the religious beliefs of it’s owners. In the past, the SCOTUS has also ruled that the business can reflect the race of the owners as well. THAT must be respected.
Going into business does not mean I have waived all of my 1st amendment rights.
