Listen idiot I'm a guy, second, I believe in sanctity of all life and that means recongnizing that others deserve the same chance you had.
Lets just say when I started out I wasn't shall we say, healthy but I was given a chance to get healthy and live. Many HEALTHY children never do now thanks to this dispicable practice.
“Sanctity of all life” is a very tough standard to uphold. Innocent young children, babies, unborn children are all killed in war. You will suggest those deaths are necessary to avoid even more death and destruction. Perhaps.
The death penalty. Despite ‘Thou shalt not kill” we kill with impunity those who we feel deserve to die for the terrible things they have done.
One may be called collateral damage. The other may be called state-sanctioned murder. In either case, and by our own words and actions, the “sanctity of life” is a fungible commodity.
Holly, there is a big difference between murder and killing. Put simple: Murder is the unlawful act of taking someone's life, and Killing is the lawful act of taking someone's life. Scripture is clear in what is acceptable and what isn't, in regards to the taking of someone's life. The Commandment "Thou shall not murder" is referencing murder, which is not the same as killing. God's laws prevent murder but allow killing. Unfortunately today killing unborn children isn't murder, according to man's laws. It is despicable and considered killing according to man's laws.

the deputy was at a massive poker game when she stepped outside
others and said he though he shot one
ok was this a She or a he, or whatever
No gun zone....only government workers are allowed to protect themselves in Chicago.
Yeah there's something wrong here, no doubt about it.
doesn't anyone think there is something possibly criminal about a deputy playing in a speakeasy type poker game?
dust, Agreed, this story is so poorly written I can't hardly follow what happened and to whom. How does one "pull his own shot back"? Does that mean he was shot in the back and "pulled" his back going down, or did the officer (still to be determined if it was a male or a female) pull his/her own weapon and then shoot back? I'm no English major, but I could have done a better job writing this story. Just sayin'.
No one was injured at a Chicago school at 11:30 art night?
I suspect that it's hard enough getting people in Chicago into one of those buildings even during the day.
There needs to be a moderator or at least a proof reader for the Blaze writers before posting them to screen.
The deputy might have shot him in the back! Mickie Moore will be calling him a coward because a sniper shot his uncle who was retreating also in the back.
Trying to follow this story was like tailing a drunk on a Saturday night, weaving all over the place and eventually winding up in a ditch.
I'm still confused even after watching the video. I haven't figured out yet what the officer was doing at a poker game nearby the alley where the assault took place...or how in the "scuffle" two perps made off with cash and officer's cell phone.
It's probably the senility setting in, but I grew up reading stories that understood the importance of these news story words:
who, what, when, where, how, why?
Was it an illegally run "massive poker game" this off-duty officer was at? Was the officer a participant, just watching, meeting someone? Inquiring minds want to know.
The officer " noticed someone being robbed in a nearby ally and approached to help." Did he/she have their weapon drawn at this time? if so, how did they get his/her money & phone and get shots off?
The mental image of "she" officer stepping into the alley suddenly transforming into the "he" officer who's taking shots at perp's back has caused a minor case of mental whiplash.
Well Jonathan, you keep working on those news writing skills and some day you might just become a deputy managing editor for The Blaze...Doh!
Who writes this? And more important, who edits it? Was the deputy a man, a woman or were there more then one deputy involved? I've read drunk ramblings that made more sense than this did.
Chicago is a liberal city, so its probably both. Depending on how it feels that day.

Yes, and his secret almost came out of the closet.
I hear there are a lot of problems though with tourists getting beat up on the beaches because the native Hawaiians don't like white people.
What gave it away !
He always prefers the Back 9
@Dust--The same thought struck me. I’m in the golf industry but have never heard whispers concerning Allenby’s sexual preferences– but that doesn’t mean a damn thing. It doesn’t appear that he’s married.
Agree with everyone below, but polluted with a pocket full of mallards will get your ass jacked up anywhere in the world. Might as well send out an invitation. Drunk and stupid never got me mugged, 6' 235, but it did land my ass in jail a few times. Young, dumb, full of........ never mind. LOL Wish I was 20 again.
I wa just going to say that! "Wine bar"? Sounds like he likes fruit in his drinks...
