‘It Is the Most Racist Thing!’: Beck Can’t Believe the Outrageous Comment Chris Matthews Used to Bash Ted Cruz
June 14, 2013 at 10:22pm
Glenn … Fr. Coughlin started as an FDR supporter, but then he shifted farther left and became not just an FDR critic but vicious enemy because he said that FDR didn’t go nearly far enough with “social justice,” meaning redistribution of the wealth. Sometime in the 30s Coughlin went completely off the deep end and started heaping praises on Benito Mussolini, fascist Italy, and finally, he was even praising the Nazis. FDR shut him down by getting the Fairness Doctrine enacted which didn’t end until Ronald Reagan finally nixed it either by executive order or may Congress repealed it. It was totally unconstitutional, but FDR had had quite enough of Fr. Coughlin by the late 1930s. You’re probably right that the Catholic bishops had had their fill of him. I think they probably sent him back to Canada to some parish in the Canadian wilderness where he was never heard from again.

Yeah, dudes who are 40 + and wearing pony tails are really annoying. I know a dude who’s 58. He’s got hair on his shoulders just like he did in high school. He’s still a bum too. I doubt he ever held a job outside of a few months as a landscaper. He has no idea what a dork he looks like. Nothing worse than an old fool trying to look like a young fool.

Yeah, those are really terrific when shaving chest hair, aren’t they?

Guess what? You didn’t read the article. He was talking about his political views and how he’s come to regard himself as a conservative, especially on the issue of abortion. That kind of position can get you blacklisted in Hollywood today, unless of course, you just don’t care whether you work again or not. Sounds like Wahl either has grown a big pair lately, or he’s already made enough money in Hollywood to tell the Hollywood libs to stick it. In any case, I’m sure he’s a better man than the Lilliputians who come in here ranting nonsense about what a bad actor he is. Hey, jealousy is always so obvious. Go call someone who cares to hear your jealous rants.

So Wahl was NOT a Hollywood actor by your definition? What do you mean “YOUR” Hollywood actor? What does that mean? Wahl’s an actor, and he works in Hollywood. So what? And what’s your definition of “something worthy” in the last 10 years? And who cares if he hasn’t been in anything YOU consider “worthy” in the last 10 years. This article is about Wahl and how his worldview has matured so that he now regards himself as a conservative, at least on some issues that are important to him. It’s not about “worthy” acting jobs he may or may not have had in the last 10 years. It’s about him and his worldview, so shut up because you’re obviously jealous of his success as an actor. Even if he is past his prime, so what? Everyone has their peak professional years.

Who the heck are you? How do you know he’s a bum? Is there something in this article that suggests he’s a bum? And what exactly is your definition of a bum. I’d guess that he’s made quite a tidy sum WORKING in the movie or TV industry as an actor. Who the hell are you to call him a bum? Was Ronald Reagan a bum? Do I detect a bit of jealousy?

Seriously, it might help your assertion if you had specified TO WHAT you think “it” is not relevant. Moreover, we don’t know whether “it” refers to the Blaze article itself or to Wahl’s views. Are you trying to suggest that Wahl himself is irrelevant, and if so, irrelevant to what? Your life? Who cares about YOUR life? Wahl is relevant to HIS life. And the article is relevant to actors who find themselves leaning toward the politically conservative. Besides, I found it interesting. Congratulations, you just wasted everyone’s time on a nonsensical post.

Kisses6350, no one here cares what you think of Wahl as an actor. That’s not what this thread is about. As a thinker, he seems first rate.

You mean Wahl’s a second rate actor? Who are you, an actor? Anyway, that’s not what’s at issue here, if you hadn’t noticed. I couldn’t care less what you think of Wahl as an actor. As a thinker, he seems to be first rate.
