If I recall correctly Fiorina started out at HP as a sectary and worked her way to the top.

Best to take care of the problem and shut your pie hole. If you have ever been attacked by a dog you know lead is cheaper than a doctor. My mom, a dog lover, thought a stray dog was friendly until it almost killed her. We captured it and tried to get a neighbor to confess it was theirs. Surprise, they denied it was theirs and we couldn’t prove it. The county put the dog down.

I’d rather think that the the Commies in that state should comprehend what “shall not be infringed” means.
Thelma, the US Constitution applies to the federal government (not that it matters anymore) not state and local government. Don’t like their laws move! I wish people could comprehend this. I’m glad I live in a state and county that is firearm friendly.

I know this is going to bring the thumbs down from the deniers and self-righteous so let it begin. To be clear I do consider myself a Christian and recognize humans can be very evil.
Christians have a history of burning “witches at the stake”. As horrid as it is we must face our own history too. Evil must be stopped regardless of religion. The koran teaches evil, muslim sympathizer I’m not.

As an example for lilmac929′s comment the story states; “It is time to wake up. This is the enemy of all mankind. Make no mistake, this is a global jihad and it has everything to do with “their” religion and their fundamental interpretation of the Koran.”
The Koran does not teach a religion of peace, isis is doing just as the Koran demands of them. This is not a “fundamental interpretation of the Koran” it is what the Koran teaches. Glenn or anyone else please select any verse in the Koran that demands tolerance and love. You can’t because there is not one. Loving god is mentioned twice but only for muslim who do as the Koran demands. Glenn, you should follow your own advice, “wake up”!
There is no such thing as homosexual marriage, period. Marriage is between a man and woman. Marriage is not a convenience by government regulation God holds this court. Hijacking words is no justification. End of story!
The Bible allows for multiple wives and concubines. It also allows old men to marry teenaged girls. Do you really want to argue that point?
dwf1: "God holds this court."
I've never seen god in a long black rob sitting behind a big bench with the name-plate 'JUDGE' on it so... Until that happens... We will follow the rulings of our judicial 'leaders'.
No, the Bible does not allow for multiple wives and concubines. That was a practice in the Old Testament that God did not like but allowed for that time, however it was done away with in the New Testament. "Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?" Matt 19:4-5 (KJV)
desert, please cite passages so that others may look and see if you are correct.
"I’ve never seen god in a long black rob sitting behind a big bench with the name-plate ‘JUDGE’ on it...."
If you can't see something, therefore it does not exist? You can't see the wind either.......
lock-n-load. The question of polygamy is an interesting one in that most people today view polygamy as immoral while the Bible nowhere explicitly condemns it. The first instance of polygamy/bigamy in the Bible was that of Lamech in Genesis 4:19: “Lamech married two women.” Several prominent men in the Old Testament were polygamists. Abraham, Jacob, David, Solomon, and others all had multiple wives. In 2 Samuel 12:8, God, speaking through the prophet Nathan, said that if David’s wives and concubines were not enough, He would have given David even more. Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines (essentially wives of a lower status), according to 1 Kings 11:3.
although God did say the kings were not to have multiple wives "....Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold." Deut 17:17 (KJV)
Also the verses in I Kings 11:1-13 - it does say that God was angry with Solomon for his multiple wives and concubines, and Solomon's kingdom was taken from him.
I mentioned this in a previous post - God did not like this - that is why Jesus in Matt. 19:4-5 turns it back to God's original plan.
So marriage didn't exist before your religion came along then? Did it exist in all the places all over the world where you religion wasn't for thousands and thousands of years?
DR, it's not a religious issue, it's a societal one with a concept the ignorant cannot understand. Men and women can procreate, two women or two men cannot, kapische. You will say they can adopt, well, they can adopt in a civil union. Single people can adopt, etc. Why marry not unless you want to not bastardize your children. Many people want the marriage for that and may don't care. Not unless you plan on procreating, their is really no need to ever get married. The marriage concept must be tough for progressives and the left to understand. Of course as I tell my gay buddies, why one man would want to get in another man's a...s...s is beyond all comprehension.

Evolution my arse, these days it seems most don’t even know how to boil water let alone make tea in a kettle. Man has forgot more than learned.

I’m waiting on a fork that loads itself and feeds me when I’m hungry. Doesn’t seem that far fetched to me we have firearms that load and start shooting. The dumb-down of the human race continues.

…and from Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes on Sunday;
“It’s going well, isn’t it? Gervais opened. “Let’s not ruin it by me saying, anything, really. No one wants to see me insult any of you rich, beautiful, over-privileged celebrities, no ordinary people at home wants to see that. Cause you’re better than the ordinary people. And you know it, and they know it deep down.”
“I’m not gonna start picking on things you’ve done, some of it immoral, a lot of it illegal,” Gervais continued. “But if we’ve learned one thing it’s that famous people are above the law, as it should be. I’m not gonna get into the terrible things you’ve done to get here tonight.”

CWB (conservative while black) a tough row to hoe. He has my respect.
If he was principled, he wouldn't have copied someone else's work literally word for word. That's not "improperly citing," or missing a footnote... it's out and out plagiarism.
OOOPS. i WAS CAUGHT. obama!!!
dwf1, sorry but as a ModerateRepublican interested in the character of potential republican candidates I have to call BS on your post. This was outright plagiarism. There's a convention that authors use when quoting someone else: quotation marks. He's plenty smart, especially given a professor caught him plagiarizing in college, and to assume he "accidentally" forgot to use quotation marks (over and over and over again if you follow the link) is absolute denial on your part. And yeah, he not only forgot to use quotation marks but he also "accidentally" forgot to indicate the source of the words is ridiculous.
Plus, some long passages were quoted verbatim and other slightly rewritten. So Carson slightly rephrased other authors, changing a word or phrase here or there and didn't think that plagiarism?
No this goes straight to the character of the man and it looks bad. He thought he could get away with it but got caught. Now he's saying "oops I forgot to put quotes around the language I directly took from other people, and somehow didn't realize taking somebody else's words and tweaking them a little would be considered plagiarism." Whatever.
You wanna know the truth though? The real truth? Somebody else wrote this book or at least parts of it. Honestly I believe that Carson didn't realize parts of the book were plagiarized because he didn't write those parts. That's what I believe.
But he can't say that can he?
