I feel bad about Trayvon Martin. I do not relish his death and I feel bad for his parents. But convicting Zimmerman would have been very wrong given what happened. This remains a tragedy, but a conviction would have been a travesty.

That warning was to Alfonzo’s uncle, not to you guys. You all can come over!

I have a feeling, if they ever bothered to sit through Dr. Zhivago, these thugs really liked the part where the Bolsheviks put squatters in the “rich” people’s apartments.
Nothing like giving money to a film that glorifies the killing of white people by minorities. I guess put in the perspective of our actual crime statistics, it only reinforces the reality on the street.
he killed bad people, and the reality is black people shooting black people on the street. The only difference is it does not make the news. The only way a black person gets on the news is if a white man shoots him.
Straight up Revenge flick done Spaghetti Western style. Django (and his German bounty hunter, partner/owner) killed "bad guys" who sold Django and his wife into Slavery and split them up just to be cruel. Admittedly a bit more Sam Peckinpah than I care for but all and all a well acted, well put together film. Tarrentino rarely fails. (Could not understand the choice of some of the music. Rap and Rock just felt totally out of place here...)
If you dug The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (or, for that matter, Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction) then you'll probably dig this film. Well worth the Matinee price...
