So why call him a "convict"? THAT is my point. If the conviction is overturned, and the decision to overturn is not successfully appealed, then he is cleared.
Then maybe it should have said former congressman ….and only deal with the conviction and OVERTURNING in the body of the article instead of painting him as currently convicted.
Then why dont you print Former pedophile Bill Clinton when discussing him....Its a two way street.
Well how about a non-inflammatory and suggestive headline - the nature of the headline you chose seems to be a blatant falsehood intended to cast aspersions against Mr. DeLay feeding the leftist untruths that always seem to be the nature of "journolists"
How short was it Eddie??? I don't think "NOT" is good enough, do you?
Might have mentioned the felonious conduct of the DA that held 6 grand juries in a row because they kept returning results that there was not evidence of a crime. He finally struck gold with the dishonest 6th.
Or mentioned that the court ruled in DeLay's favor because it wasn't illegal at the time. Rather like our baseball players who used steroids being dinged despite it not being against the rules when it happened.
The Constitution flatly prevents bills of attainder and ex post facto laws. You can't hold someone guilty for something that wasn't illegal when it happened.

Why is it belittling to acknowledge that Lott is enthusiastic about gun rights? That’s his passion and what he’s on TV 9 out of 10 times to talk about.

We reported on what he wrote about Piers Morgan and then gave Morgan a chance to comment. This post is a follow up on Lott.

Thanks for the answer. You can post them anytime, it's never too late...: )

There are some differences but that’s a fair question.

We’re calling this feature “Blindfold guess who”! Which means we won’t explicitly tell who the subject of the post is (for one reason or another… usually privacy). Our other feature “Spotted” will, however, tell you who we saw and identify him or her by name. Have fun guessing!

I just looked at the post– comments aren’t closed. May be a glitch on your end.

Hi Everyone, I’ve corrected my mistake in the post about the “controversial comments.” Thank you for calling attention to the error.

Hey there, winners are posted usually on Tuesday or Wednesdays for the “Caption that photo!” contests. Occasionally “caption this” posts are put up but those aren’t usually followed up.

Well, not quite the same though they do sound very similar! I probably could have included that detail ;)
