  • My heart and prayers go out to the victims, the families, and all of those teachers and students that had to live through these horrors. This is so heartbreaking and so sick, I cannot come to grips with this and cannot possibly understand how anyone could kill another person, especially innocent children. I’m angry, sick, and saddened over this, I cried very often yesterday upon hearing this and more so now since I saw the ages, they were the same age range of my boy. They were just babies and my heart aches for them. I keep hugging and kissing my boy telling him how special he is and how much I love him, he is aware of what happened and we told him if he is upset over this he needs to let it out and talk to us, if he is scared he needs to speak up, I cannot even imagine what those students are going through right now. I pray for the families of the victims and the other students, I pray for their strength and healing, if I could do more for them I would. I am literally at a loss here and wish there was more I can say or do.

  • I can’t stand that man and everyone I know loathes Bill Maher with the exception of one person, he will recap everything Bill Maher and talk like the man craps gold. It says a lot because this guy leads a very depressing existence.

I’m only 30 and Andy Williams is and always will be great to me. I have my collection of Christmas music I keep handy all year long, for the days I feel blue or just get a bug up my ass. I adore the Christmas season. It consists of Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra. It drives my hubby crazy but our 7 year old could name who is singing and enjoys it with me. I’m convinced I was born at the wrong time. I also love big band. I’m one of those retro gals and I couldn’t imagine being any other way, I hate all this crap music, shows, and movies. If it came out after 1960 I hate it with the exception of a few things out of the 80s and 90s but that’s slim. Could wipe my ass with anything from this day and age!

Now, I shall go listen to Mr. Williams.

  • My son accidentally spilled a glass of water on his Nintendo ds system one night and didn’t tell us until the next morning when he woke up bawling over it. My husband took the battery out and did the rice thing but unfortunately, it didn’t work. Several minutes after baking a cake, while the oven was warm but not hot, I put it on a cookie sheet and let it sit in there for awhile with the door opened. It would turn on then off, and would charge for a few seconds then stop. Nintendo said it was a bad battery, but before we even had a chance to replace the battery he got a replacement plus the 3ds from my awesome dad and he threw the old one out, so we will never know if my oven method worked. It’s worth a shot though!

  • @Whitedevil, I did the same to my nano a few years back. I thought if I was truly a moron or if others had done the same by accident, so glad I’m not alone! Unfortunately, I didn’t know about any of these methods and I ended up getting a new one, still have it!

  • I had an neighbor where I used to live, she gave her husband sleeping pills, once he fell asleep she stabbed him several times, and to make sure he was dead she held a pillow over his face. She’s sitting for life. There were several loaded guns in the house, she was out of her mind and wanted him dead but never reached for a gun. If the intention is to kill or even just harm anything could be and would be used.

My husband and I argue, sometimes to the point we can’t even be in the same house with one another. Sure, I’ve thrown things at him, things that would never really hurt him, of course. There have been moments where one of us have to walk away from the other and so on, eventually we both cool off and make an attempt to discuss it. We’ve never hit, punched, kicked, stabbed, shot, or caused physical harm to each other. We have our son’s baseball bat in the umbrella bucket by the front door, a kitchen with a knife drawer, we have a gun hidden in the house, we have hammers in the tool chest, we have shovels, saws, an axe, and countless other items that could be used as weapons between the garage and the house. Neither of us have the intention to hurt the other let alone kill.

If there’s an intention it will be done. If it’s done, responsibility rests on the person behind it, not the inanimate object, there is someone controlling that!

  • How lady like of Chrissy.

  • These guys are a bunch of clowns, but I still watch I get the weather and a few laughs.

  • You could always wait until you kid tells you on Dec. 23 that he hopes Santa brings him this certain toy, that he wants soooo bad. Then you race out to Toys R Us about an hour before closing and see that exact toy (probably the last in the country) in someone’s abandoned, well they actually left their cart in one aisle while shopping in another, so you slowly walk up to the cart and quickly grab the toy and race to the checkout lane. Then on Christmas day you remind your child that Santa loves him very much but the importance and meaning of Christmas is all about the Baby Jesus.

I am guilty…but technically the cart was abandoned, there for the toy was as well.

  • Will this name change include welfare, free health care, free housing, free schooling, and a form of social security to anyone who sets foot on Mexican soil? If so watch how fast they smuggle themselves back to Mexico.

  • I am convinced, the Griswalds were based off of my family, including the wacky distant relatives. Only difference is my parents had 3 kids instead of 2. Never a dull moment and always good laughs, I love it.
