So does any one really think that only people who own guns support the second amendment? That only gun owners oppose the gun grabbers? What if gun owners refused to give up their weapons and got hauled off to jail. It isn’t just a matter of how to deal with all those people, where to put them. This would not be a static event. There would be other consequences. For instance, what would be the effect on the economy if a substantial number of productive citizens were removed from the work force? And what if those who aren’t arrested for not giving up weapons because they have never had any but who support the second amendment decided not to go to work in protest? And businesses started to suffer, couldn’t get their products to market? Couldn’t get their orders processed? Didn’t have employees to serve their customers? You think all those who have been living off the productive are going to step up and fill the void? I can’t even take a vacation because no one can do my job. This isn’t just a battle that the armed citizenry will fight. No one is telling you to surrender your guns. But a civil war? Really? You really think that time has come? There are people who truly just don’t know what is going on who might wake up. It isn’t just you gun owners against them you know. Ever hear of the underground railroad? Look how far the progressives have come without a revolution. Or you can just become who they say you are.

Well it was true when Harry Reid reported that Mitt Romney didn’t pay his taxes based on the accusation of an anonymous person, so this must also be true. Harry needs to prove his innocence.

I am giving him all my money, everything he sells I buy, i hope he becomes the richest man in the world

I find most of the comments about this story totally disgusting. I think Obama will win. I think America is morally bankrupt and we deserve the living hell that is coming. All anyone seems to care about is money. Seems like a lot of people are just full of envy that this woman won the lottery and didn’t deserve it. This is a tragedy. I believe the economy is a big problem, but it isn’t even close to being the biggest problem we have. We are. What a nasty hateful bunch.

Went to the local party store last week and they had no balloons due to a national helium shortage. Now we know why. Glad the turtle is okay.

And if they can’t get guns, they make bombs, like most of the terrorists use. Like someone recently said “there is a hole in our soul” Changing hearts is the only thing that will make these things stop.

There are people who are not religious at all who don’t agree with the homosexual lifestyle.

  • June 29, 2012 at 12:23pm

Unfortunately the same kinds of things are also happening at the “Christian” colleges. If this is the same case I heard of a while back, she said she would refer homosexual patients to another counselor given her inability to condone the lifestyle, which seems like the responsible thing to do. Then they wanted to reeducate her and try to “correct” her thinking.

Or force abortions if they detect birth defects in the womb

  • June 28, 2012 at 1:30pm

Heard a discussion the other day about how abortions will be funded by all of us. One dollar per month will be added to everyone’s insurance premium and will be specifically designated to go into an abortion fund. They estimate it will raise enough to pay for over 2 million abortions per year. Those who are happy about this don’t even know what they are happy about since we have no idea of all that is in this bill. This is probably nothing, but my mother called her surgeon the other day and when she gave her name they told her they needed her birth date, that is how the records are filed. Maybe this has been done for some time because it more efficient some how.

Yeah, get rid of all this stuff on public property and they will start crying that they can see the cross on church property from a public road.

Seems like there should be some way to protect it as a historical memorial. I find it really hard to believe that this group is so loyal to and defensive of the Constitution.

I thought he was making the point that the church lacks some credibility here as it relates to sexual sin. Many churches have become lukewarm and we bear some responsibility for the moral decay in our society. We’ve conformed to the world. We’ve lost our saltiness, the light is dim. And I say “we” because I have been a part of it myself. How many Christians are virgins when they marry? I was….the first time. What about all the divorce, pre-martial sex and adultery? Seems addiction to pornography is also a serious problem. Our small church was almost destroyed due to a sex scandal when a young teen who had been exposed to his father’s pornography was assaulting small children at church. The family was prominent in the church. Come to find out there was an extramarital affair as well involving another prominent family in the church, and this was 20 years ago. We have a few specs in our own eyes. I didn’t get from this that we should approve homosexuality, but rather that the pulpit needs to address our sin, within the church, occasionally. Maybe they could do it once a year… maybe the week after they do the sermon about tithing. But that’s just me. Point is, we can’t just attack people. We can love people without approving of sin. We should all know this, right Christians?

I am in Michigan, high unemployment. We have job openings but can’t get people to come to work as it is – too many hours working messes up their public assistance. I hear there are problems with people taking college classes who are only there to keep the government money coming too. And once again, congress thinks this is a great thing. They have no idea what they are doing or how things work in the real world.
