  • To deal with this, we go to a common ground of understanding: The 10 Commandments, specifically “Thou shalt Not Kill”. We get the Muslim community to agree that “Silence Means Consent” and put consistent pressure them so that they understand that in order to retain any credibility, they must police themselves or their religion will be scorned and villified. If they are “peaceful” as they claim, then they need to clean up their terrorists. Because Peace cannot coexist with terrorists.

  • Goodstuff–I don’t think that the Paul family is like that. I know the reason you say that is because Stossell went on air with prostitutes and ganged up on a lady who was advocating for moral righteousness.

But generally speaking, Libertarian’s carte blanche acceptance of debachery is why they get no foothold with the God-fearing conservatives because if you give approval for their sin, you are equally guilty. I will NEVER say, “Oh, THAT’S okay–go ahead and prostitute yourself! It’s your right!” That kind of attitude (fill in drug use, all immorality, porn, etc. all actions that Libertarians think we should make legal) is just accepting that the person is hurting themselves and others, degrading our culture and continuing in a life of sin. There is a God that we will all face, not only individually, but also corporately: generations are judged, cities will be judged, nations will be judged (check out what Jesus says about this).

  • Creationists believe in part of evolution — that God built into organisms the ability to adapt and change within boundries–which is what we see in science. What we do not believe, nor do we see in nature–is that one kind of animal (say a cat) can turn into a dog. The amount of DNA changes needed to make this happen are astronomical and simply have not been observed.

For Bill Nye to condemn Creationists as dangerous and anti-science is completely untrue and frankly, misinformed. He should visit–with an open mind— the Creation Museum and be prepared to apologize.

  • Talk about good timing–after Obama’s remarks this weekend about how if you built a company, that you didn’t do it on your own, you used roads, workers, etc… which is from the Social Democrats playbook. As if paying the worker, paying taxes doesn’t really count!

So does that apply to individuals, too? If you built a house, since you used roads, sub-contractors, etc, the house doesn’t really belong to you because other people helped build it? What does that really mean?! I hope this movie explains this clearly. We are in deep, deep trouble if Obama has another 4 years without worrying about re-election! Looking forward to seeing it!

  • Clearly Obama needs to ask Putin for a campaign contribution.

  • @Anti Spock: AHHHH the old Bush’s fault/Bush is worse/”quick–look over here!” tactic… NICE. I didn’t worry too much about foreigners invading us when Bush was in office because I knew he would do whatever it took to keep us safe, even if that meant bombing Russia. We might not know about it from the news, but we all knew he was a nice guy but tough and CLEARLY not afraid to stand up to bullies (and they knew it). Obama, on the other hand, is an unknown. Would he actually step up to the plate or would he just go out back for a “smoke”? We know he’s a pothead, so you do the math.

  • Right–German philosophers (THAT worked out well for them). Maybe this year, he can read history and find out what actually happened to people when they implemented those horrible ideas! Then let’s send him a copy of Levin’s “Ameritopia” to help him out a bit with the history and reasoning process. He seems like a bright child.

  • There were police nearby, and yet they allowed these children to be harrassed. That’s sad. Who are they protecting? Bigots?!

The guy who told those kids that they were going to “burn in hell” needs to read Matthew 18:1-10.

Furthermore, these children are singing a song to honor their country that allows these vermin the freedom of speech. HOW DARE THEY SHOUT DOWN THESE CHILDREN!!! They are nothing more than low-life hypocrites.

  • Oh, and btw enicom: there is a very simple way to disprove evolution without dealing with Darwin. It’s all about information. The information in your DNA comes from your mom and dad, right? Where did that come from? How did information in the DNA develop to form, say, an eye when an eye must have so many other parts to make it work? Wouldn’t it have died off? If you say it came from another organism, then where did THAT information come from?

  • LibertyRev and Encinom have a fundamental misunderstanding of ID and Creationism. Both understand evolution as it pertains to change that we can see and demonstrate–change that is testable. But that is not where the argument lies. The issue is in the Historical Evolution–the way life and the universe began. ID and Creationists (and they are different) believe that there was something that began it–it did not just explode and happen. Creationists do not believe that we evolved from one organism but that each was created with the capacity to evolve to a certain extent–ie. there are a lot of different cat breeds but a cat does not evolve to a different kind of animal. A dog can be bred with other dogs to create new breeds but it does not change to a whale, etc. IID and Creationism completely fits with real science and any claim that it doesn’t is either based on a misunderstanding or a strawman argument. It is simply a different way of looking at the evidence.
