  • Who gives a whoop if he get one year or ten. Let’s just hope the guards put him in a room with Bubba and company and then tells them what this psycho’s crimes are… Tell them to take their time.

  • The little suction machine that rips babies limb from limb kills a lot more children than guns of any sort. If fact, I’d bet that more die that way in a day in any one city than die in a year’s time by guns. How many rights must we lose for the sake of safety which is a ‘gasping for the wind’ idea anyways?

Jim went from Dumb to Dumber to big effin idiot in my book.

  • Apparently it was easier for the other people in the train to tolerate a security guard mistreating an 84 year old woman than it was to tolerate having to hear her sing hymns because nobody stopped him. Shows the priorities of the people. And we are actually shocked when the left stands by and watches our other rights being stripped away? This is where we are at, boys and girls. Tragic. Cowardly and selfish.

  • I think it’s means they’re going to do it……or theyve ALREADY done it.

I’m sick of this administration completely ignoring We The People. That’s dictatorship pure and simple. He does what he wants…then spins it that it’s in the best interest of the people, for safety and security. Just like the gun control issue.

I think, like the Assad Regime, it’s time for the Obama regime to come crashing down.

  • I can agree with this. START a conversation telling men not.to rape…and if they don’t listen, END the conversation by putting a bullet in their brain.

  • Lib ideas on gun control= frogs in the pot.

    :)

  • When was the last time we actually discovered a ‘cure’? Millions and millions of dollars in support and research and what we get is TREATMENTS. There’s much more money to be made in treating an illness, than curing one. If you think big pharma CARES about you, then maybe you should be on antipsychotics

A cure is out there. Just don’t expect pharmaceutical companies to market them.

  • If the womans daughter is a nurse, she should.know about DNR status and how important it is for it to be up to date. If the woman was sick enough that it was appropriate to stop interventions, then her daughter should have changed her non-DNR status. For instance I had four patients just in January this year who had multiple comorbidities but could have lived a while longer (CHF, COPD, CKD, HTN)..then influenza hit our facility and it tipped their already overwhelmed systems to a point where they would not recover despite Antiviral (or in the cases where it progressed to pneumonia, antibiotic) therapy. At that point, their ‘full code’ status was changed to DNR. If she was THAT ill she would likely not be in an ‘assisted living facility’, but a convalescent or skilled nursing facility. I do have a huge issue with a nurse that would not perform CPR on a patient because of company policy.

On the other hand, if it was the patients wish to not be resuscitated, I fully respect that. The article is too vague.

  • Amen to that Jones! There stepchildren here in our country who have every opportunity and material advantage, and are so blinded by it that they miss the point of life.

  • Prior to the election I asked people why specifically they chose to support a certain candidate. The answers varied but I clearly noticed a theme. Obama supporters stated things he was going to do to benefit them directly. Romney supporters stated things he was going to do to make our country better or stronger.
