Have you ever heard of the Unitarian Church? God is an option there.

What’s unusual is the format; a church. But morality and ethics are not the exclusive domain of the religious. In fact, for those who are students of the Hebrew Scriptures and are familiar with the prophets, nowhere is there a requirement to be religious, just to be righteous. The prophets eschewed ritual and harangued the Jews to be righteous and not ritualistic. Atheists, without compromising their philosophical principles, can adhere to the gentile version of the Commandments known as the Noahide laws: Seven commandments that are the roadmap for civilization. It can also be argued that God needs atheists in order to witness His existence when He chooses to reveal it.

Would-be dictators and tyrants have almost always telegraphed, clearly, their intentions. Hitler wrote Mein Kampf, Marx wrote his manifesto and Obama wrote his book that should have made Americans shout from the rooftops that this man is evil. Obama is an honest politician who is carrying out his stated policy. It’s the American people who put on blinders and voted him in just like Hamas was voted in in Gaza. Unlike Gaze, you have the opportunity to vote him out. Don’t waste it.

Have you heard what the Occupy Calgary idiots are demanding? Condoms!
Actually, if it prevents them from popping out more idiots, why not?

Speaking as a non-American, Brenda and her father are perfectly right. I live 20 minutes from the U.S. border and culturally am as American as Canadian apple pie. But if I were ordered to recite the American pledge of allegiance, as much as I love the U.S., I would be outraged. Nor do I expect you to sing Oh Canada even though the words are easier. There seems to be a truly devoted effort to destroy America from within. Thank goodness for The Blaze and its readers in representing sanity.

No Jews either.

We Jews stand with God. He’s one of the family.

Muslims seem to have no problem killing each other and firing rockets at Jews during Ramadan. The only people who treat this pseudo-holy month with respect are Christians and Jew. As far as the Temple Mount being a holy site, it’s holy to the Jews as the site of the temple. Muslims will build a mosque over any other religion’s holy site to prove the “superiority” of Allah. Islam isn’t a religion, it’s a political movement for world conquest masquerading as a faith.

Actually, Tom is right. Not only that but the “g” should be lower case. Perversely, spelling the word with a hyphen has made it a name of the god of Israel. With the lower case “g” it is a generic spelling for any deity.
