  But who knows if the writer of that book in the bible literally meant the world or if it was just the world that they knew at the time. I mean its not like they knew that there were other continents at the time of the flood.

  I do agree that there seems to be a lot of catholics that are liberal I mean that definitely showed during the election but I feel that those Catholic are an older generation, or they are younger people that are really only catholic in name and do not really follow the teachings. Being a college aged catholic I’ve been noticing more and more that the college aged catholics I know are conservative and even more the seminary in my diocese is full of young conservative catholics. I understand that this may differ from state to state but it seems to me that in my diocese the younger generation of parishioners and seminarians are majority conservative.

  The Newman Center I am a part of at a liberal college is not liberal at all. We have about 30-40 regulars every week with more who come and go. We do focus on community outreach and nearly all of us are conservatives.
