  Why move to the next great blue state (Tejas)? Just a couple of hundred miles up I35 lies the free lands of Oklahoma, even the dirt is red. You would be much happier there.

  As I write this my Okie family is saying “Shut Up, SHUT UP dummy, don’t tell them about this place”. So I won’t, Oklahoma is terrible, its just like John Steinbeck depicted. Dust bowl, starving cows, pizzed off Injuns everywhere, not a single beautiful lake to be found. Yeah, all you Yankees and Californians will be much happier in the oh so eclectic Austin. Forget I even said anything.

  There is no need to use buckshot for home defense. I personally use #2 goose shot knowing it will easily blow a huge hole in a man and the pattern from a missed shot will go through my stucko box house and the neighbors outer wall but probably not have the inertia to kill her on the other side of the wall. Still, there is no reason that 7 1/2′s would not stop someone cold and dead. Without a doubt, a 9mm or a 5.56/7.62 will stop about two or three houses down from me. There are many sites out there that have wall penetration tests. Anything goes through 12 sheets of drywall.

  Unlawful discharge of a firearm for just firing off shots. You are going to jail 100%. You will never legally own a gun again. Never pull that trigger unless you absolutely mean to kill someone that is trying to kill you or your family. The retainer for an atty here in Fla. is $20,000 and if you are smart you will fake a heart attack go to the hospital and call your atty. NEVER talk to the cops. Be damn sure you need to pull that trigger. A warning shot is 100% prosecutable.
