  • Love to all, and those who recently lost loved ones, feel your pain here in WV. This will be the first in 12 years without one of our pets. God Bless

  • I decided to catch a glimpse of Hardball tonight, ya know, just for laughs. All I got was a thrill up my optical nerve that led to bleeding from my retina. They can’t cover Fast and Libya, so they resort to claims of racism. What the heck?! At least talk about something else, like the tropical storm brewing down south. Bunch of maroons. Sorry if that is racist.

  • I heard the Fox news update with the reporter stating the obvious, that was on my local AM station out of Wheeling, WV, then a short 5-10 second run of tones, then back to scheduled Rushbo. I checked some of the FM stations, as well as local law enforcement which usually sends out an alert even for weather related activity but no test was there. NOAA weather didnt even do a test and I think they were involved with this entire project, oh well, back to studying morse code.

  • I read some posts about Comcast not going down this morning. I am about 25 miles north of Wheeling, WV, on a Comcast connection and it did drop out here as well, for about 3 1/2 minutes like most. I released and renewed my IP from Comcast and got a new one quick, but could not connect outside my LAN, maybe Comcast didn’t go out, but somewhere a major router was down and the backups did not kick in. Im working on getting my amateur radio license by spring, I hope thats enough time.

  • To me, it seems these are the same people who, in grade school (and now college), were very impressionable and willing follow anything and anyone who seemed “cool”. There are a lot of them, they may get out of control, and are those acting as leader of the pack that need to be revealed as such. Keep waking up, follow the current events, polls, debates, rallies even watch Bill Maher and Jon Stewart as it is educational. When you compare logical reasoning between the different outlets, you will figure out which is best. It’s not hard. Demonstrate common sense, it works. May God Bless

  • Check out the Yuengling company, started in Pottsville, PA 1829, private family owned since and now growing. I live in WV and just a year or so ago we finally got it locally and didn’t have to drive across state lines anymore. Now just this past month it was announced that Ohio was getting it in stores. It’s a great product that is enjoyable in small amounts and doesn’t need to be guzzled like others, I think Bud was like that years ago, but now seems like flavored water. I’m not advertising, but I do support their business.

  • Right On!!! The only threat is from attackwatch.com and I sent the link for them to check out. If they had any common sense about them the would realize they are creating the problem. Everybody join in, sign up, send in a link, expose them.

  • Yeah, same old dog, same old tricks. The only thing that needs to be watched for attacks is the website itself, maybe if they read their own printed quotes they would realize at least some of those are opinions, not necessarily facts. But don’t dig too deep on that, just send money to Obama for America in Chicago, IL. Like he needs money for campaigning. God Bless The United States of America.

  • You won, we lost eh? That’s why you don’t plan on having your rally in NY. There will be enough patriots at the 9-11 memorial that there will not be a problem with your “noise” during a moment of silence, especially all the way from London. This is the United States of America, and if you want a piece then come join peacefully, otherwise be prepared we are ready. God Bless

  • About a month ago when I read that a facebook page supporting the riots in egypt was up, I snapped and deleted all my info then deactivated my facebook account. I had alot of contacts there and used it maybe twice a week. If they allow that kind of content, I had to go. Maybe a bit extreme on my part, but the pieces were starting to fall into place. I service computers after work hours for pocket money and most of my work involves removing spyware and virii that most likely came from facebook apps and games. I dont feel people are actually networking via facebook for good reasons, all I see is people playing games and gossiping about other people instead of doing something productive. For some I think it has replaced the TV, which may be more interactive, yet less educational. Enough of my rant, on to the next, God Bless the U.S.A.
