years ago, my nephew got hired at UPS, started as a loader. He said they would plant open or poorly sealed packages to see if anyone would steal. A coworker got fired for taking some candy. Have they lowered their standards with new hires?

I don’t know when the package dumping started, you used to have to sign for everything. Now they charge extra for a signature required delivery. With all the thefts going on, it seems worth it, but I haven’t seen that option on any website I’ve ordered from this season.

Lucky for me, there is always someone home at my house. One of the good things about living in a multigeneration home.

The only problem I’ve had this season is a gift I ordered for my daughter. She opened the door for the deliveryman, and he announced what he was delivering! Thanks for ruining the surprise.

What kind of professional care would you recommend? When an autistic child does not communicate, what good does sitting in a doctor’s office staring at the floor for an hour do?
You can’t lock them up unless they hurt themselves or others,

It may have needed too many expensive repairs to be useful to a charity. Still it’s sad to watch the death of a piano.

    Old Soldier,
I am offended by your use of the word “giant.” You should use the PC term, extra-large people.

The fact that he didn’t know Mr. Williams’ political leanings until near the end of his life goes to show the difference between conservatives and liberals. You can spot a liberal a mile away by the scowl on their face and the hate in their hearts.

Unions are great and worth the few cents you have to pay, so everyone will want to join in, so what’s that problem?
Could it be that people will discover that they can get the same wages and benefits without lining the pockets of thugs? Oh, no!

She gets to worship her lord and savior for 4 more years and has an 8X10 photo of her meeting with the messiah — what more could she want?

If you want a “liveable” wage, you should be prepared to do a little more than carrying a sign demanding one or work at a low-skill job like Walmart or McDonalds. Walmart estimates they had 5 million job applicants last year. News Flash — you as a worker are NOT in demand and will be paid accordingly.

I experienced the complete opposite while in Australia. Well behaved people on clean buses and trains. The only obscenities and bad behavior was from a drunk Aboriginie who was calling white women cu**s and other choice words. The bus driver refused to let him on the bus.
A few days earlier my daughter and her friends were cursed at and had their food taken from them at a fast food restaurant.
Maybe we should have taken videos, but I doubt they would get the attention that white people behaving badly gets.

Hollywood brought this hate on themselves. No moral compass, everything goes, break all the rules, and you expect people to treat others with loving respect? Don’t think so.

I don’t know if his comments during and right after the storm went national, but basically it was I did this, I did that, and the people I met just wanted to hug me and take pictures wtih me. It was disturbing even before Obama showed up.

You fooled me once, Christie. It won’t happen again. And the Dems will treat you just like they did Arlen Spector.

  • November 17, 2012 at 10:08am

You’ve got it all figured out, right Christie? Just kiss Obama’s ring, help him get re-elected and you’ve won over the hearts of the Democrats, which will surely help your chances of getting re-elected Gov., or maybe in your run for president?
Have you forgotten how well it worked out for Spector?

He’s from Jersey, which means he’s more of a Tastykake man.

But after the lovefest with Obama and the caving in to the unions, vetoing bills to help small businesses, I’m done defending him. In two years if there’s a real Republican running against him, I’ll vote against Christie.

If you want to take out empty rhetoric, take out the part about protecting and defending the Constitution.

Calling Sarah Palin a C*** and wanting to send Elisabeth Hasselbeck to Egypt to be raped is not misogynistic, right Bill?

Unless he voted early, Obama cares.

I heard a radio ad today by Michelle Obama proudly proclaiming that you do not have to show your ID to vote in Pennsylvania. Really something to be proud of, Michelle.

Well, Lena, you’ll find that first time is a bit of a disappointment, especially if you pick a man as shallow and egotistical as Barack. Better luck next time.

  • October 22, 2012 at 11:35pm

Why did he let him off the hook? Because anybody with brains knows the real story, is not fooled by the lies and attempts to cover up Obama’s mess.
The fools who do believe Obama are not watching the debates, they are yacking on their Obama phones and eating their government cheese.

Romney succeeded in making Obama look childish and sarcastic, not presidential material.
