Report: The NY Fed Has Been Quietly Bailing Out Bank of America?
February 18, 2013 at 12:29pm
Bank of America (BANA) bought CountryWide (CFC) just prior to 2008 and the mortgage meltdown. Most of those toxic assets by CFC were hidden, not just from investors, but from BANA as well. It wasn’t until the deal went through that BANA discovered the crap storm of toxic assets. BANA at that time never lowered their lending standards. BANA inherited them. Then to boot, Ken Louis (Former CEO) had been trying to buy Merrill Lynch (ML) for some time. It wasn’t until the crisis occurred that allowed BANA to buy ML making BANA the largest private financial institution in the world by assets. Next to the Fed, BANA is a type of central bank. 1.5 out of every 2 people in America do business with BANA.
ML and CFC no longer exist as entities. The lawsuits are against BANA as a matter of necessity and not that BANA did anything wrong themselves.
Think of it this way. You buy a house. But the person who sold it to you, had built a guest house 5 feet into your neighbor’s property. Your neighbor wants you to move it and you didn’t do anything wrong. Who is he going to sue to have it removed? The former owner? Of course not. There is no recourse for that. He has to sue you.
All you people do is just like the liberal media, you fail to learn the history and facts, then jump in and bash a company. Life is not fair. BANA is not the only one getting bailed out. Read the facts folks. You guys all worship Glenn Beck who does his homework, yet you people can

Is This Really the End? Hostess Says Talks to Prevent Shutdown Have Failed
November 21, 2012 at 8:28am
Hostess needs to file Chapter 11. If hostess was debt free, had no contract with Unions, etc, then they would not need a judge. However, if you are debt free you don’t file for bankruptcy. Also even if they were debt free, they have a contract with a Union, to which they cannot break without being in breach. So only a court can resolve the contract if the two parties do not mutually agree to do so.
On a side note to all of you trying to politicizes this – Liberals, Conservatives, Obama, Bush, Palin, Muslim Brotherhood, et al, have nothing to do with this.
BlazeCast Rewind: The Obama ‘Allah’ Wedding Ring — Here’s Everything We Know!
October 11, 2012 at 12:33pm
We should only be concerned with the TRUTH. http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl-obama-wedding-ring.htm Look at the hi-res pic in the link and the supposed low-res fuzzy images of the ring with the script superimposed over the low-res. You cannot apply the script over the hi-res and achieve the same effect.
Use your heads people.

Look up your facts before espousing nonsense.
The USGS says that the region is no stranger to quakes, though they are indeed rare. Its website notes:
“The Northeast Ohio seismic zone has had moderately frequent earthquakes at least since the first one was reported in 1823. The largest earthquake (magnitude 4.8) caused damage in 1986 in northeasternmost Ohio, and the most recent damaging shock (magnitude 4.5) occurred in 1998 at the seismic zone’s eastern edge in northwestern Pennsylvania. Earthquakes too small to cause damage are felt two or three times per decade.”

United Airlines Under Fire for ‘Losing’ Unaccompanied Minor in Chicago, Stonewalling Parents Efforts to Find Her
August 14, 2012 at 8:46pm
I find it hard ti put blame on the parents who were thousands of miles away. Parent put children on planes all the time. Obviously this is an exception and not the rule. UA bears ultimate responsibility here. If I were UA’s CEO, I would offer the family free airfare for life. When parents hand their child off to an airline, that airline becomes the temporary guardian and bears all responsibility. The parent put their child in the hands of the airline under good faith here.
If I were the UA, I would immediately cancel the contract between UA and the third party company hired. I presume that UA and the other company had some sort of process put in place with which the person who is to accompany the minor would need to arrive by a certain time prior to the child’s arrival. AT which point, if that person fails to arrive, then a UA employee would need to step up and take the responsibility.
UA is undoubtedly the primary responsible party here.
Radicalized Iraq Vet Charged With Attempting to Join & Fund Somali Islamists
January 10, 2012 at 9:31am
Actually why don’t you go read the report. It labeled vets returning from the war as likely to become right-wing radical terrorists. Right-wing radicals refers to Fascists and Neo-Nazi type groups, and based on the report it included various Militia groups. It said nothing about returning Muslim troops turning to domestic terrorism. The report was about white males returning from the war and joining these groups.
Your anti-GOP spin isn’t going to work here. The readers of the Blaze.com are actually educated. You should espouse your lies elsewhere, where they might actually work.

Wow! That is not cool. Black has nothing to do with it. Race has nothing to do with it. It is about beliefs and radicalism.
