Negative: for certain the 1811′s (criminal investigators) in HSI-ICE (not sure about the jailers, deportation guys and other non-investigators) have not been issued the 155 grain ammo for years. 180 grain Federal HST is standard issue since about 2009 or 2010. On the other side, some CBP offices issued the horrendous 135 grain .40 load as recently as 2007. Not sure what they use now, but 155 would have actually been an improvement for those guys. This story is a distraction/ non-issue. The same people here who are worried about this recent purchase contract are usually the biggest ammo whores of all.
