#USArmyProud – You are correct indeed. I would contend very much so for the first attempt to fire. Perhaps not so much for other attempts if a struggle for the gun is occurring as it seems increasingly unlikely the attacker could maintain the out of battery position on the firearm. Possible certainly. Just not highly likely during a struggle.
However, I now know that Officer Wilson’s sidearm was a Sig Sauer P229 which has an exposed hammer which if held closed or if a blockage, such as finger or skin, would cause exactly what Wilson explains. So with this knowledge it now makes sense to me personally. But I would suggest that weapon is useless because it can be made useless during such a struggle by an attacker. Certainly, non of my small arms have such an exposed weakness. I also noticed this Sig has plenty of room behind the trigger to place a finger which would also prevent the action needed to fire.
Lastly, I will go so far as to suggest that if Officer Wilson would have been able to shoot Brown with a working weapon at his first attempt to fire that Brown would have had a much higher likelihood of survival as that one shot could very well have ended the struggle and no additional shots would have been required for Wilson to protect himself.
So I now account Brown and the weapon for Brown’s death. Not just Brown.

    What a tragedy.

Does this still count as unarmed?

This shows how dumb cnn is to begin with. I don’t remember seeing any Fox emblems on their microphones whatsoever during any of it.

I guess cnn thought the punks and criminals loved them.

I have a significant issue about a series of things Officer Wilson says in this interview regarding his first attempt to fire his weapon.

He draws his gun, Brown grabs the top of his gun by wrapping his hand over the top of the gun and Wilson feels he is trying to get his finger into the trigger guard. Wilson pulls the trigger. The gun clicks and fails to go off because Brown is jamming the gun. It takes three pulls of the trigger before Wilson’s gun goes off for the first shot. So this means by what he is saying… he didn’t have a bad round because he never recycled it for this first shot. He’s saying he had to pull the trigger three times for the same round in the chamber to be fired.

If Wilson’s firearm is cycled with a hot round in the chamber when he unholstered the weapon by pulling the trigger it will fire irregardless of someone holding the top of the handgun. In the scenario he explains it’s possible that a second round then being fired with someone holding onto the gun in the same way might get some of their hand/skin stuck in the gun as it’s cycles could cause it not to fire because the top-action is impeded and not secure against the chambered round – this is not at all the case as he explains it for this first shot.

Browns finger can’t be behind the trigger because Wilson says it clicked. But if clicked to reset the triggered requires recycle.

See this portion of the interview:

Score for self respect = 0

Sound much like the sh for brains on mslsd last evening after fox stopped reporting live coverage who said the 100 shots of gunfire they heard were completely unrelated to the protestors and was just two rival gangs shooting at each other.

He goes first with abc? He must be wanting to talk about what newspapers he reads.

With family like this mike brown never had a chance. Looks like black power eventually goes sour. As it should because it’s rooted in self victimization, mind filth (garbage in, garbage out), hatred, no coping skills, lack of self respect witnessed by lack of respect for others, moronic life philosophy, self defeating self imposed culture, and lawyers and supporters that think the same way. In its most basic terms they blame all others for their own choices and decisions.

Thanks bloomy. I’ll be sure to tell this crap to one our Nation’s highest ranking Army Officers who will be at our Thanksgiving table this year with his family who recently returned from afghanistan where he commanded thousands of warriors and does so both at home and abroad.

Apparently, commercial property owners have decided that the best way to get out of town for good is to just let them burn it down. During all the coverage I saw no such owners protecting their property and so the result is I don’t feel sorry for them at all. They abandoned what is their natural right and therefore must face the consequences alone as well.

I guess her personal long-standing ill-conceived conclusions are more perfect than simple evidence.

Until she can accept the truth her life will be slave to a lie.

  • [25] November 24, 2014 at 10:03pm

It’s true, according to the evidence, Brown was unarmed.

The problem for him is that he had tried to arm himself with the officers firearm when he attacked him in the car. Officer Wilson could not let that happen again and all Brown had to do was stop trying to charge or attack Wilson.

For this complete lack of common sense, Brown is dead.

Ignorant mob rule fails once more.

All mob members are now directed to travel to Chicago where they will protest all future black on black street murder, which should keep them busy for decades but hopefully only a couple of months before they stop killing each other and the mob can go home in victory.

  • November 24, 2014 at 2:55pm

Protect and Defend. It’s the American way.

Those insisting Officer Wilson be charged with a crime refuse to consider any factual evidence on whether or not a crime by him was committed because they want a public trial and have called for such a charge from day one before any real evidence was gathered and processed. Yet if the evidence found and processed does not require a charge then they are simply outside the realm of what is and isn’t just. They are the mob.

These anti-American thugs and pushers of lies, deception and rage deserve no respect and should receive no quarter for hiding. Their actions from this point forward stand alone and if boundaries of civility are crossed they should expect to receive personal justice from those they act upon to terrorize and destroy.

    It’s the American way.

It’s really weird. All the tv shows I like seem to have Rowe narrating them.

He’s a real killer classtoefunk meister.

  • [12] November 23, 2014 at 8:08pm

    Way to go Rudy!

“The white officers wouldn’t be there if you’d stop killing each other 70-75% of the time.”

But truth be told, the white officers would still be there. They’d just be writing traffic tickets instead of investigating murders.

More truth be told is when you rely on the police along for your security you are going to loose. A society must first be civil to truly be free because when civility is lost so is everything else and that includes the sense to fix the problem. In other words, you can’t blame the police for incivility and crime. You must blame the people who commit the crimes and everyone else in society who puts up with it.

The obama doctrine = non enforcement of law beholden only to selected political interests

A fraud of the highest order.
