  I wonder if MSNBC is covering the story yet? It may not have reached their threshold of newsworthiness. I also have to wonder how long the left-stream media will stay focused…I hope that they have at least some small shred of journalistic integrity left in them…we’ll see. Now, we clearly have an extensive cover-up, first of the State Dept’s failure to properly address the previously identified AQ security threat (identified by the slain Ambassador himself) and then the White House political cover-up of blatant AQ ties to the “terror” attack, politicizing and changing the CIA intelligence assessment to ensure that it would not become a campaign issue. Remember how Pres. Obama was “outraged” during the second debate when Romney brought this issue up? Imagine making those incredulous, condescending and disparaging remarks knowing what he had to know…that Romney was right, that it was an AQ attack, and that he and his White House were covering it up. Let’s see, Obama won with 51% of the vote to Romney’s 47%…he certainly didn’t win on the economy, he won on, “Bin Laden is dead and GM is alive”, on the lie that AQ was defeated, that there was no “war on terror” and that he had singlehandedly, “taken the shot”. What impact would the truth about Benghazi and AQ’s continued threat have made on the election? Guess we’ll never know now will we.   The “New Left” has become the “Old Right”. If you want to see McCarthyism, look at the front bench facing off at Senator Cruz – Senators Feinstein, Durbin, Leahy and the ‘laughing hyena’, Chuckie Schumer (did you see the mocking grin on his face?). It was like something out of the “Lion King” with the Hyena’s in charge. They have become exactly what they say they disdain – mocking, belittling, disparaging, hateful and engaged in personal attacks…they are McCarthy-like tyrants. Stand-by, the New Left, ‘progressive, regressive’s’ are just warming up…they are only going to get worse.

  I can’t think of a better reason for term limits than the “Kangaroo Court” assembled in the Senate this day…all four of them, the arrogant ‘ruling elite’ of our country. It’s sick..we NEED TERM LIMITS…time for a bottom-up Constitutional Convention…Old School.

  Two words: TERM LIMITS…Term Limits on all of them, including McCain, Pelosi, Reid, Levin, Feinstein, McConnell, Graham and Ron Paul…too much time in DC corrupts absolutely, whoever you are. Two terms as Senators, 6 as Congressmen and then get them out of there. We don’t need a ‘ruling class’ of elitists holding power for generations. I respect what Paul “the younger” did whether it was a real threat or not. Obama needs to be called early and often to keep a check on his Imperial inclinations. I would be harder on McCain if it wasn’t “Shep” who was doing the grilling…he’s an idiot. McCain is a military hero for what he went through in Vietnam and he did his part in the Senate (a long time ago). We need fresh thinking and ideas, and to have leaders who’s first consideration isn’t getting reelected at all costs. The system is broken…time to Amend the Constitution.

  Now that Glen Beck is off Fox, there are only two segments worth watching, “Special Report” with Brett Baier and “Fox News Sunday” with Chris Wallace. The rest is pretty much rubbish, led by that duffus Shepard Smith. As soon as I see his face, I begin to consider switching to MSNBC, but then think better or it.

  After reading the entire article, Cusak sounds a bit more like a Libertarian or Tea Party Republican than a Progressive…Progressives don’t believe the Constitution is anything special and actually think that it gets in the way of their concept of ‘progress’. As one great ‘progressive’ Georgetown Constitutional Law Professor recently said, “it’s just too hard to Amend the Constitution”…beyond bizarre…there’s a reason for that you know. I don’t see that in what Cusak and his Constitutional Law pal are saying. It’s all about the Constitution, although expanded beyond the intent of the Framers to foreign citizens in foreign lands…not just US citizens running with AQ in Yemen before taking Hellfire missile shots, without 14th Amendment ‘due process’ I suppose. Regardless, it’s an interesting discussion, even with all Johnny boy’s unnecessary but ‘heady’ leftwing F-bombs thrown in.

  If “Politico” is so concerned, why don’t they take the next step and actually ‘do’ some investigative journalism? Plenty to work with, start with the “Fast and Furious” debacle and cover-up; follow-up with the “Benghazi” debacle and cover-up; maybe a piece of two on the “Petraeus” scandal and cover-up (I’m sure Eric Holder didn’t tell the President about an ongoing investigation of his DIRECTOR OF THE CIA for two months during the height of the election..very unbelievable); then wrap it up with the “UBL Raid” self-serving intelligence leaks and cover-up (landing the Pakistani MD in prison for the next 33 years). Politico should stop whining and do something about it if they are so concerned…there is PLENTY to work with.
