Went to a gun show this weekend with a friend on Sunday. In our wanderings, he found a revolver he wanted to purchase. The dealer asked him if he was a Concealed Carry permit holder. He said, “No”. The dealer told him she would have to take down his information and contact him during the week sometime as the NCIS had been “down” all weekend long. She said this was the third straight gun show that the NCIS or Insta-check system had been offline.
ATF and FBI will say - whoops, sorry about that. You know how those darn servers can over heat.
Bureaucracy is how our rights get taken away!

From where I sit and from what I’ve seen, this man is not a traitor. Nevertheless, the Feds continue to build a case against him in the court that really matters, the court of public opinion. If he had divulged sensitive information to the Russians, wouldn’t we be seeing them reap the harvest by now? Or maybe, we are destroying ourselves already (and we are) and they are content to watch.

I saw this same phenomena a few years back while at a Boy Scout campout called Trappers. This event was based on a mountain man rendezvous. The Scouts could bring things they had made or found and trade with other Scouts. There was fellow there making Indian fried bread. He placed his dry ingredients on this mixing board into which he then poured about 1/2 of a 10 ounce bottle of water. The water he used was commercially bottled and was stored in a cooler to keep it cool but war enough to inhibit freezing. When the water was poured onto the dry mix it froze into ice crystals as it flowed down the side of the small mound. The remaining water froze in a matter of seconds. It was 2 degrees that morning and didn’t warn up much. Too bad the Scouts destroyed themselves by not sticking to their principles.

We get that here in Kansas sometimes. We call it Oklahoma.

Funny. The Blaze will show the bodies of those killed in violence on the border; will show all manner of human suffering. Yet, we are too immature to handle this woman’s breasts. I understand the whole modesty argument, but if that is your position, be consistent. No boobies, no dead bodies.

This cop should be fired…from a cannon…into the sun.

The reason for the vote of self-immolation had more to do with the almighty dollar than any social cause. The BSA has been hemorrhaging corporate sponsors for a while now. This is their attempt to play along to get along. I am a scout leader and have two sons in youth leadership positions within the troop. I see us hanging around until the next round of troop elections and then, maybe the Appleseed project.
As for these a-holes at national: may God forget you were my countrymen!
This story is fiction. This is what might have happened if firearms were legal in D.C.. So, either this is fiction or guns are legal in the nation’s capital…right?

Did anybody notice that when Dr. Carson says that this nation has the most intellectually gifted people leading it that B. Obama’s nose rose about 2 inches into the air? Watch the video again and look for it. Arrogant pr*ck.
Yes! And as the speech went on, the higher he held his head. I noticed that too!

The members of Westboro are largely related to one another. They are most, if not all, lawyers and use their legal prowess to fund their reindeer games as they seek to be a thorn in our collective side. Kind of turns HA, HA, HA, into HORK, HORK, HORK, doesn’t it?

I have always liked Kevin’s characters. It’s nice to see he carries his head on his shoulders rather than nestled between two fleshy pillows, where his nearest neighbors would be a couple of nuts.

Titus’s father has an AM conservative talk show on the local Glenn Beck affiliate station. Pretty sharp father, adorable boy, killer skills!

First of all, the reason given by the BSA for allowing gays to intermingle with the very impressionable young men is total B.S.. Instead of “allowing” the local groups the ability to decide for themselves, they are setting up the local groups for death by jurisprudence. Defence against lawsuits of the sort levied against the B.S.A. in the past, is a very costly proposition, one a local organization will never be able to afford to wage. Should the B.S.A. cave, I will be forced to withdraw my sons from the organization. I cannot support, with my time nor my money, an organization that is willing to forsake its core principles.
Second, to any parent who is willing to have their son remain in a unit with a gay leader or scout, I have two words: FRESH MEAT.

The Sheriff was correct in his statements; however, he didn’t go far enough. He should have told the residents that law enforcement DO NOT have a responsibility to protect them. That they are only a response force to take names and decide after-the-fact “who dun it”. We, as human beings, are responsible for our security and may God dxxx any politician who attempts to strip from us our means of defence.
Animals of the wild have claws, fangs, horns, brute strength, or speed and agility with which to protect themselves. We have our ability to use complex tools and cunning. To deprive us of these is to place us in a state below that of mere animals.

The opinions of Tom Slackjaw are dead last on my list of concerns, which by the way, has been growing steadily over the past few years.

I am a hunter living in Kansas, and I have often wondered why one would spend the time and money to hunt a wolf. According to my ethos, you kill for meat or in defense. I am not a tropy hunter, antlers are tough as hell. So, going out of one’s way to shoot a wild dog makes no sense to me, but I guess to each, their own.

Perhaps, this is yet more evidence of the existence of The Almighty. So it shall be written, so it shall be done and all that.

Penn is an atheist. Those causing such division by demanding the nativity be removed, or the Ten Commandments be removed, or that schools deviate from decades old traditions of prayers before ball games, these are anti-theists.
The atheist does not believe in God. The anti-theist doesn’t want you to believe in God. Satan is not an anteist; however, he is an anti-theist.
