  It’s all the political correctness when i was young they had mental ‘nut’ houses to keep all the whack jobs in then all the bleeding hearts whined about the rights of the cuckoos and they closed all the mental hospitals and let these type of loner wack jobs loose and innocent people are paying now for all the BS . Public executions and enforcing the laws we have now and all this would be a thing of the past. Police are unwilling to inforce law because everytime it gets on TV when they bust some jerks head open that deserves it, No respect for any authority figures parents included , a little ass whipping goes a long way .and if I offended anyone to bad live with it.

  The state as a whole may vote or be socialist that does not make the entire population of said state socialist, In New York we tried to secede from downstate and it failed legally, The only way to change things will be violent and probably most of the people commenting here will not have the stomach for it if it comes to that, I fought in war and I can handle it I admit I don’t want too it’s ugly, the closest most on here have come to fighting is in a video game.

  You are really being ignorant , every state in this country has people in it that want the country back, Take a good look at the petitions their are people from all states signing petitions for states that they are not from. Texas has big liberal populations too , their is a petition for Austin to secede from Texas read the whole petition .And go look at a election returns map ALL urban areas are liberal /commie progressive areas, rural and suburban are conservative.

  Now their is a petition for Austin Tx. to secede from Texas, one for all of us that signed a petition to be stripped of citizenship ,one to deport us . if this was not so serious I’d be ROFL.

  Now Austin wants to secede from Texas if they are successful here is the petition-

  Peacefully grant the city of Austin Texas to withdraw from the state of Texas & remain part of the United States.

  Austin Texas continues to suffer difficulties stemming from the lack of civil, religious, and political freedoms imposed upon the city by less liberally minded Texans. It is entirely feasible for Austin to operate as its own state, within the United States, in the event that Texas is successful in the current bid to secede. It is important for Austin to remain in the union as to do so would protect it’s citizens’ standard of living and re-secure their rights and liberties in accordance with the original ideas and beliefs of our founding fathers.

  We would also like to annex Dublin Texas, Lockhart Texas, & Shiner Texas.

  When you are checking out the petitions take a look at where the people come from no one state has signatures from people just from that particular state, every state has signatures from all the others ,Texas does not have just Texans signing they have people from all the states signing their petition, New York the does not have just New Yorkers etc. etc.. Look at the election maps county by county and you see ALL urban areas are dominantly blue and the suburban/rural are dominantly red.
  The urban areas are the problem, they produce nothing but have the biggest amount of leeches.
