  • @Sillyfreshness. Thank you for pointing out that Obama is really a fascist. We like to throw around terms with various “ists” tied to them to describe Obama. Marxist, Socialist, Cmmunist, and the like. But Fascist fits him to a tee. He is a crony capitalist. While he doesn’t like capitalism per se, he realizes that generating revenue is necessary. So, he wants to pick and choose the winners and losers in business, hence he bails out certain banks, certain auto manufacturers, etc. He won’t allow for drilling off shore or support the Keystone Pipeline, but will glady drop half a billion on Solyndra. The progressives love to blame the banks for the collapse of the housing market, when in fact it was governent regulations (CRA Act) that forced banks to write the bad loans which is the root cause of our current economic crisis. And Obama is dividing the country by waging war between the rich and the rest of the country. This is not unlike the behavior of another infamous fascist, Adolf Hilter. Hilter also blamed the banks of Germany (instead of the gov’t.) for many of the country’s economic woes, and waged a war on the Jews, many of whom were managed these banks. And he successfully divided the country to turn on the Jews. The only thing we are missing in this country are the concentration camps. Perhaps that is what Obama has in mind for the 2nd term?

  • This warranted an FBI investigation? Seriously?? Do they have so much extra money in their budget to investigate something so trivial. Or is indecent exposure now considered a federal offense?

  • I recommend clicking on the link “views on firearms” near the top of the body of the article. As always, the devil is in the details. Several polls were conducted, mostly by main stream media sources such as ABC, NBC, CBS, the NY TImes, etc. I won’t question the results presented in this article. Let’s just assume for a moment, that slightly more than half the country wants some form of increased gun control, as Saranda suggests. There were two VERY telling poll question in the details not presented in this article. The gist of these questions were – if we had stricter gun control laws in place, would that have prevented the mass shootings at Virginia Tech or in Tuscon AZ? The vast MAJORITY of people said, NO…stricter gun control laws would not have prevented these awful events. Only 19% of the people polled felt that stricter gun control laws would have prevented the incident at V Tech, and 18% felt stricter laws would have prevented the incident in Tuscon. And these questions were asked referencing specific massacres, and at a time right after those events occured when emotions are running high.

So why would anyone want to pass stricter gun control laws if they don’t really believe it will help stop violence?

My theory is when you ask a person about gun control, you elicit an emotional response. When you ask a more analytical question, will additional gun control prevent crime, people actually think, and provide a rational response.

  • Even Ronald Reagan was considered a moderate when he was governing in California, yet we saw a much more conservative president. It would be next to impossible to get anything done as governor of Mass if he took a hardcore conservative stance on everything. In the end, Romney is still a politician. I think he will surprise many who consider him a RINO, if he takes over the WH next year. And more importantly, we need to elect a republican senate to ensure conservative policies are restored.

  • Romney is being accused of a crime. I always thought that in the United States, people are considered innocent until proven guilty. I also thought that people had the right to face their accuser. Instead, we have Harry Reid claiming Romney hasn’t paid taxes for 10 years based on alleged information from an alleged source at Bain. Oh…and we are supposed to believe Robert Gibbs that this all goes away if Romney simply turns over copies of his tax returns? Right…and I have oceanfront property for sale in Nebraska.

Doesn’t the IRS, a government agency, have data on Romney’s tax returns? I mean, they are saying he did not pay taxes. That’s easy enough to verify without having Romney turn over tax docs.

Everyone sees through this latest distraction. Obama doesn’t want to have to talk about his record, so let’s make up all kinds of BS about Romney. Like the magician on stage…he shows you what he is doing with his right hand so you can’t see what’s going on with his left hand.

And what a wonderful piece of irony! Demanding the release of Romney’s tax returns when Obama refused to release the birth certificate, education transcripts, etc. etc.

  • I blame the Trollmonger for lowering the overall IQ of responders to this blog.

  • Excellent article. In fact, the government is dependent on the private sector. The private sector may not have physically built the infrastructture, but the private sector certainly pays the bill. The best part of all this is that Obama was speaking from his heart. Without the teleprompter, we get an honest view into this socialists’ mindset. This is the real Obama.

  • And still, ABC tried very hard to make a connection between the Aurora Theater shooter and the Tea Party. The MSM is just disgusting.

  • I’ve often wondered, shouldn’t the Hollywood leftwing nuts join the OWS crowd? You know…to protest against the wealthiest 1%.

  • Spot on. Come November, the OWS crowd will learn something about math and the 1%.
