This same garbage is going in the Air Force as well. We haven’t been hit with “White Privilege” yet, but the “Every Man a Rapist” briefs have been going on for a few years now. They also finally have acknowledged that a large enough portion of the accusations of sexual assault are false, enough so that the accused are supposed to get their own advocate in addition to the victim getting one.
As far as race in the Air Force. Minorities make up a sizeable chunk of the ranks. There have been no shortage as NCOs and SNCOs above me past and present. The officers are more often white, but that is a college thing, not a race thing.
My suggestion to civilian friend’s kids coming in is to sign up for a job that puts them on the road a lot (see the world and get paid well to do it), do your four years, and then take your GI Bill and leave. A career is barely worth it anymore and the dirty secret is only about 17% (Enlisted) make it to 20 years and a retirement check. All the rest burn out and leave or are kicked out.
Yeah, i would like to see the government implement a 3-4yr. mandatory military service after high school, that will at least place them overseas for a short interval (1-3 months). That way they get to experience a part of the rest of the world, learn some discipline, and also learn that this country has allot still going for it.
I tell My relatives and people I talk to , to just say no. You are better off on drugs. Ran by filthy liberals.

Actually for once this is an example of the gov’t doing to the right thing. Informing people with good concepts.
It’s when it goes from being public service announcement to Federal Regulation #14873291002 chapter 3 paragraph 4 line three of the Climate Change, Child Obesity, and Forestry Safety Act (CCCOFSA) Proper Marshmallow toasting techniques that they’ve gone and stepped over the line.
That’s when we should dragging the politicians out into the woods for a little “toasting”.

She added: “As you go forth, when you encounter folks who still hold the old prejudices because they’ve only been around folks like themselves, when you meet folks who think they know all the answers because they’ve never heard any other viewpoints, it’s up to you to help them see things differently.”
That was exactly what I was thinking listen to her speak. If all you are thinking about constantly is race then that makes you a “racist”. Maybe she should take a bit of her own advice and stop trying to hook the next generation on the race victimhood drug.

Doesn’t sound like the 70′s I grew up in. Mrs Shields my kindergarten teacher had 2 rules. No tattling and if someone hit, bit, spit on, scratched you, you hit them back. After that you could come tell her.

Rule 10 after rules 1-9 fail, strike fast, strike hard and continue to do so until the threat is eliminated…..Ender

The 35% is after all the “loopholes”.

It is nice to see when the public does their part and adds a little “chlorine” into the gene pool.

We used to call this Fascism. We’ll actually we still do call this Fascism, but now it’s pretty much just known and progressive.

I was trying to help a co-worker’s kid (high schooler) with some algebra homework and realized she didn’t have a strong grasp on her multiplication tables, almost no clue how to do long division, and kept doing weird things to add and subtract. Now that I see the above example I realize she was trying to do the above. It is sad what they are doing to and what they parents are letting them do to the kids.

It doesn’t matter if they are mentally stable or not. A person like that should not, deserves not, to be walking around after that.

Time to cash in the organ donation card of what ever POS did this.

There are ways of wearing the uniform as a civilian that would not make him look like the poser that he is. I find that laughable at best that he is wearing it to “support” his family members. He did it for the attention and occasional “freebee” very generous civilians tend to dote on the troops. Anyone who has traveled in uniform or hit the local grocery store away from base after shift knows what I’m talking about; the public will sometimes smother you with love. To the point sometimes where you almost have to change into civies to avoid the extra attention.
He was just looking to cash in on that and he got called out.

California has been on an income tax fishing trip the past couple of years and going after anyone that they think lived in state that was claiming out of state residency. It’s been particularly obnoxious for myself and few other people in the military like me. They tag you with a tax assessment, make it almost impossible for you to get a hold of them by phone (I spend nearly 20 hours on hold during 5 attempts to contact them to get this resolved). The time periods they were hitting me with were from over 7 years ago and according to their tax code the burden of proof was on me to show that I was not a resident. If you are stupid enough to just pay the assessment to get them out of your hair they hit you with a full audit and try to pin you with multiple years rather than just the single one that they brought up.
What brought all this up in the first place? The IRS releases their tax records to the States showing the address of where you filed from without showing which State you are actually paying taxes in (or at least claiming residency in). So this guy is quite correct that the federal IRS is the source of this problem.

…..or let you go.

Repeat after me:
“Can I take a look in your car?” the proper response is “No, I do not consent to a search.”
“I’m just going to check to see what is in your pockets” the proper response is “No, I do not consent to a search”
Then after that you should say “Am I under arrest or being detained?” When the response is “No” then the response is “Am I free to go?”
When they insist it is all friendly ask for their name and their supervisor’s name and phone number and then repeat the “Am I under arrest” sequence until they either they arrest you (congratulations you are in for a big hassle but just probably won the opportunity for a very nice out of course settlement.).
Good for him, now we know his colors and can avoid his place of business like the plague.

New York blowing up again? File that under “W” for “Who cares”. Maybe if they spent more time taking care of their business instead of getting into everyone else’s they’d have fewer of these events.

Last time I checked that is what public schools/GED’s are for and a job is for. No one owes her a damn thing a day past 16 much less a day past 18.

To add to that. Is the activate duty military the militia? No. Are the Reserves the militia? No. Is the National Guard the militia? No. All of those are standing Armies? Why yes they are. EXACTLY what the 2nd Amendment was designed to thwart if used in an unlawful manner.
Is the militia a bunch of “good ol’ boys” with deer rifles and pickup trucks? Yes Is the militia a bunch of neighbor hood watch people with side arms, flash lights, and cell phones? Yes. Is the militia a single person with a weapon defending their family, person, or home? Yes.
Don’t like it? Too bad, move to England I hear they are gun free, but not so much crime free.
