  I have to agree, being in the open running at the enemy is not the smartest thing to do. Exposing yourself “to draw fire” is one thing, but to put yourself in a situation where other soldiers have to come out in the open to resque your **** and risk getting killed. All our soldiers are heroes in my book, this guy is just not a smart hero….

  God bless him, and I am glad he is okay, but what I don’t get is why he was out in the open in a firefight in the first place? The article says he was trying to draw fire, but to be in the open, running down a hill towards a fortified sniper is not the smartest thing to do. I am a combat vet by the way, so please don’t lecture me. I just don’t get what he was trying to accomplish.

  I am sick to death of these animals and their religion of hate and murder. Withdraw ALL of our money and troops, point ALL of our weapons at their countries. ONE more slain American or threat and we turn them in to glass parking lots.
  Every gallon of gas we buy we are financing there ability to attack and kill us. OPEN the oil fields here, now. Drill like it’s our last days (because it is). I just can’t believe with the world burning like it is that there are that many STUPID @$$clowns that would still vote for o-hole. Just as important as losing this guy is, we HAVE to take back the Senate.
  We have to wake up. If you know people that are still supportive of hussein-in-charge, talk to them, open their eyes. This is THEIR fault, they voted the commy in. This is no joke people, you have to take action, you all know this is our last chance to save our way of life.
  I look at my little girl everyday and wonder what we have done to her future. What are YOU going to do about it?

  That is NOT a tower. It is called a “scissor lift”. I am a maintenance guy, we use these for woring in the overhead. They have to be on perfectly flat ground, and these can EASILY be knocked over by wind. There are no outriggers on these to stablize it. This should not have been used for a camera tower…Someone dropped the ball on this one. The family of this young man are about to become very rich (sadly). I am amazed at the stupidity of ND.
