I am Christian, and I agree with you. I find it so ironic and sad that many fellow believers claim to follow Jesus, yet completely lose sight of the core of his message which is love. Like I mention in my own post, within a Christian worldview yes he is wrong, yet it is not our place to judge. We are instructed to love, spread the word and teach by example. What about when Jesus was with gentiles, pagans such as the Roman centurion etc, the highly sinful tax collectors and so on? I do not recall any hate.

I have to agree with many on here. Granted, he may be guilty of these charges, but innocent until proven guilty first off. Secondly and my main point, stop attacking him based on his religious beliefs. Everyone seems to hop on others, judging, spewing hate while forgetting one of two of Jesus’ commandments for those who follow the way, “Love your neighbor as I have loved you.” Yes, within a Christian worldview, he is wrong but it is neither our place to judge him (that’s God’s job) nor to ostracize him.

Actually not only in public places like bars, but he has banned smoking in parks (like Central Park) and Time Square.

I cannot wait to move out of New York. I hate this state so much I can feel it in my bones. What I feel is one of the worst parts of the bill is that now ammo purchases are now tracked and reported to the state police and kept on file for a year.
