  • Unemployment Benefits Take Another Dip

    May 10, 2013 at 9:32am

    In reply to dmerwin.

People are NO LONGER FILING FOR UNEMPLOYMENT. BENEFITS!!!

WHY? Because in 99 weeks they disappear. They have LEARNED TO FILE FOR DISABILITY BENEFITS, WHICH NEVER DISAPPEAR.

Go look at how large a rise of ‘disability claims’ there are these days..

Our esteemed leader is side stepping unemployment by making all these people ‘disabled’….

    GET IT???

  • Coming soon to your nearest law enforcement officers. Imagine how neat it will be for them to look at you and have ALL your info displayed about everything you’ve EVER done wrong. Then have some machine tell them to arrest you, even when you have not done anything wrong.

Yeah, nothing can go wrong with these.

  • I told BOTH MAGPUL and BERETTA the same thing.

COME ON DOWN, Texas is a freedom loving state.

Magpul WILL leave Colorado shortly. Beretta was about to BUILD another manufacturing facility in Maryland and put it on hold to see how the whole ‘gun confiscation… er, gun control’ issue went. As everyone know, it went AGAINST firearms manufacturers.

HOPEFULLY they will figure out that in the long run, ONLY FREEDOM WILL WORK and allow them to stay in business.

What’s happened is THE BLUE STATES ARE SO OVER RUN BY LIBERALS WHO HAVE SURRENDERED THEIR SOULS TO THE GOVERNMENT.

So they ‘do as they are told, WHEN they are told’ so when someone yells get down, they flop on the floor.

Kinda doubt this will occur in a RED STATE where weapons are not only allowed, but CARRIED DAILY BY A GROWING PART OF THE POPULATION.

Especially if it’s real. You constantly see stories here and other places of ARMED RESISTANCE TO CRIMINALS OCCURRING DAILY. But not in blue states. Only in states where freedoms are still allowed.

Hence the reason the federal government MUST TAKE YOUR FREEDOMS AWAY. If they don’t, YOU could defend yourself. They can’t have that now, can they. They need the sheeple to stay sheeple.

  • Dismayed Vet,

You were SO CLOSE to what actually happened. Mark Kelly just INTENDED TO MAKE A STRAW PURCHASE OF AN AR-15. That’s a federal felony. It doesn’t matter that he was going to turn the AR15 over to the police. HE NEVER INTENDED TO PURCHASE THE FIREARM FOR HIMSELF. That’s criminal intent. Regardless of who he turns the firearm over to. STRAW PURCHASE.

IN JUST THE PAST FOUR YEARS MORE THAN 50 MILLION BACKGROUND CHECKS HAVE TAKEN PLACE.

firearms owners have purchased enough weapons to ARM THE CHINESE, PAKISTAN, KOREA (N&S), IRAN, IRAQ and pretty much the rest of the world. and that are just background checks. Does anyone these days ONLY BUY ONE FIREARM ON ONE BACKGROUND CHECK?

    BWAHAHAHAHAHA

  • If you look carefully the ‘federally approved 30.06 sign’ is at the front door. That means if you carry a weapon inside this facility, you are breaking the law. I would imagine if you KILLED THIS GUY before he killed lots of people, you WOULD be arrested, but even the left wing media would have to label you a hero.

I find it interesting that this video was produced basically for the Houston PD to show to Texans. And in this video they give four ‘killed/wounded’ stats that total to 72 killed/86 wounded. I’m pretty sure in each incident a good guy with a gun would have resolved the bad guy with a gun very quickly and made those numbers non existent. The problem is NOT GUNS. It’s BAD PEOPLE.

  • Plus, MOST ONLINE GUN SELLER’S WEBSITES are either shutdown, or post a sign like this one:

Due to extremely high order volume, we are experiencing long delays in processing/shipping orders. Please expect and allow 8 – 14 business days for your order to leave our building. We have doubled our shipping staff and are working nights in an effort to process orders as quickly as possible.

We have turned off our phones from accepting in-bound calls so we may focus on processing/shipping orders. This was a tough decision, but one we truly believe will best serve our customers. If necessary to contact us, please do do via email though the Contact Us page on our site. Please only send us an email if absolutely necessary as we are receiving hundreds per day and these take our time away from processing orders. However, we will respond to every email we receive.

We are still accepting orders though our website for those who are accepting of the delays in receiving your orders.

NOTE: Your card will be charged at the time you place your order. We realize this is not ideal when there are long delays in processing, but that is the way our software works at this time. If this is not acceptable, please do not place an order with us during this time of record volume.

We value you as a customer and appreciate your understanding.

  • My firearms purchase WAS AT CABELA’S here in the DFW area. I arrived as the store opened the Thursday before Xmas. The background check took approximately 30 minutes, as I had not filled out an automated 4473 before and it took me a bit longer than filling out the paper one I’m used to see.

HOWEVER, it took an almost three hour wait IN LINE to get to that cashier who then got me to fill out the 4473. After I was done, it was about five minutes and I walked out. Maybe McClellands didn’t have any customers last Saturday, but that would happen because they didn’t have a selection. Cabela’s was pretty much stripped of all their popular new handguns two days later when I met a relative there. I’ll have to go back again soon but it’s the same all over the country, as firearms are selling like … hotcakes right now, from Denver to Dallas and lots of places in between – people are scared.

that was four years ago and the volume is tripled that since the CT shooting.

  • You are correct. Another thing, the Blaze says, “As for this latter point, the process of receiving a gun, background check included, only takes about 20 minutes.”

    MY AZZ!

Try three to four hours IF you have a concealed carry permit here in Texas. If not, it could take ALL DAY. I just went through that a week BEFORE Xmas. Took the better part of three hours in line and another 30 minutes of paperwork when I FINALLY got my turn to complete the 4473.

So this is yet another attempt at laying the blame on GUNS. Something is definitely fishy. And The Blaze is completely wrong. Gee, how did that happen?
