Just like a progressive, to dismiss history before walking into the future. As has been famously said, those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

What you say is dead on correct. However, this in no way diminishes the fact that these attacks are leveled at things that are generally accepted to be Christian. If the progressives succeed in getting these things banned completely from our society and schools, you think you can get away with speaking of more fundamental concepts such as repentance, baptism or gifts of the Spirit? We should fight just as hard for Hannukah even though not Jewish since it is the concept of religious freedom that we hold dear, not just the lightweight ideas such as the Easter Bunny.
Did You Know About Hollywood Bombshell Megan Fox’s Surprising Faith Background? Tongues, End Times, and the Antichrist

“You do ere, not knowing the Scripture…”
So many viewpoints and opinions here, clearly based upon individual’s own perception. This is not advised when interpreting the Bible. It has been said that Tongues were used only to advance spreading the Gospel by allowing understanding among people of different cultures. Out of several mentions in the Bible of Speaking in Tongues, only once was this specifically stated, in Acts chapter 2. The Apostle Paul said, “I thank my God I speak in tongues more than you all,” then he said, “When I speak in tongues, I speak unto God, for no man understands me.” Kinda voids the idea that tongues are only for use as a “Star Trek form of universal translator.”
Yes, tongues have been misused since Biblical times, hence it was necessary for Paul to issue some practical guidelines, in the epistles to the Corinthians. But Paul was careful to say that tongues would cease along with prophesy, knowledge, etc., when “that which is perfect is come.” Since we are not all perfect yet, tongues still have their purpose.

Why Are N.C. Early Voting Machines Changing Romney Votes to Obama?
October 24, 2012 at 1:07pm
The article should be more clear. Computers don’t need to be recalibrated, but some touchscreens do. Back in the days when I used the original Palm Pilot, I had to recalibrate the touchscreen occasionally. Otherwise a touch at one location would jump to a point adjacent to where I wanted to select. My guess is these voting machines use touchscreens just like the ones in my district. However, that doesn’t mean that someone can’t “accidentally” recalibrate it to register a vote to Obama instead of Romney.
