The human voice changes when under extreme duress. So if she knew what her son’s voice sounded like under extreme duress…I guess he screamed like a little _itch quite often, so what were they doing to him at home? Did you sexually molest your son Mrs. Martin/Fulton/whatever?

This is why there were no charges pressed initially…there was never any evidence that this was anything but a case of self defense against a wannabe thug. It doesn’t matter if Zimmerman profiled him, confronted him, or what have you…you don’t beat someone’s head into the ground if they ask you a question.

Also, why does everyone (including FOX) refuse to air recent pictures of Martin? They keep showing photos that are 10 years old when he was just a kid…

Ok, so the original pledge didn’t include “under God”…it also didn’t include “indivisible”, which was added after the Civil War…so what? It includes it now, and it is improper to exclude it whether you like it or not.

The separation of church and state was intended to prevent the formation of another Church of England…a government run religion which pretty much condemned people if they didn’t do as the King or Queen demanded. It doesn’t mean you can’t have religion in the government…it means that the government is not allowed to influence the BELIEFS of a religion.

The next step for Takei, and others on the left, will be to FORCE churches to recognize and marry homosexual couples, even if their belief forbids it. That is the separation of church and state that was intended, and what they intend to violate. Remember that on the left, it is freedom of correct speech…soon it will be freedom of correct religion, and all others will lose their tax exempt status and be unable to function.

Hate to burst everyone’s bubble, but it is much more likely one of the SU-37 prototypes, especially given that the location is listed as Zhukovsky…where the two prototypes are known to reside when they are not performing at airshows.

The Su-37 first showed up in public late in 1996, and demonstrated its fully gimbled thrust vectoring engines by performing a “Super Cobra” maneuver at the Farnborough Airshow…something not even the F-22 can manage. There is a very good video of this that can be found with a quick search.

Supposedly it never entered production due to the lack of stealth, but the prototypes still occasionally show up at a few of the major international airshows. Other than the F-15 ‘Active’ testbed, it is probably the most maneuverable aircraft in the world.

I might have cared at one point in my life, but I seem to remember pictures of “kids” dancing in the streets and celebrating after 9/11.

    Let it burn.

There’s no reason to put our troops in yet another war that we’re not going to fight to win. We haven’t fought to win since World War II, when we firebombed Dresden and dropped nukes on Japan. If we start a war to “save the children”…where will it end? Sure, we could topple Assad…but who or what would take his place? Removing Assad would be the next step in the creation of a Muslim Caliphate.

Win the battle, but lose the war? Doesn’t seem like a very good strategy to me. A nuclear armed Caliphate run by Twelvers would mean the end of everything, since they seek to bring about the coming of the 12th Imam through spreading chaos and destruction. If one nuke flies, they all fly…then you have a little less than 16 minutes to make peace with whatever God or gods you worship.

The Crusades were in response to the Muslim invasion of Europe. Keaton, learn some history before you look like a fool. The Inquisition was started in response to the second Muslim invasion of Europe (a cultural invasion), but was ultimately used as a tool to enslave anyone who wasn’t Spanish (including a ton of English sailors that were captured).
