  • Watch: Gorilla Vs. Goose

    April 12, 2013 at 10:25pm

This is national poultry week — All women get a free goose!

  • Hey flatfoot! It is your job to enforce the law, not attempt to make it. You are a public servant of no more importance than the janitor who cleans your office. If you want a say in what laws your jurisdiction enacts you should run for city council or politburo or whatever the heck they call it out there. Is it any wonder that citizens are losing respect for many law enforcement agencies?

  • Tar and feather;then ride them out of town on a rail.

  • What a joke! The services already have plenty of non-combat medals to hand out to make those who do not actually fight feel good. If you do not chose a Combat Arms MOS and then actually deploy to a conflict and perform your mission, then no combat medals. Anyone who is awarded this piece of tin is a straight up pogue and a REMF. The Army started down this road with the CAB for all of the sick, lame, and lazy who didn’t have the stones to join the Infantry. A gay award for a military that now allows sodomites to serve. Thanks for taking another whack at the integrity of the military Panetta you POS. Who neutered the Service Chiefs? I am glad I retired before the opened the door for fruitcakes and started handing out medals for staying safe at home!

  • Why is Mark Kelly testifying? I do not think the fact that his wife is a victim of a gun crime makes him some kind of expert on how to curb gun crimes. It is a shame to see a former commissioned officer in our armed forces advocate for the passage of laws that are diametrically opposed to the U.S. Constitution. The same constitution he once took an oath to “…defend and protect against all enemies, foreign and domestic…” He should be recalled to active duty and Gibb-slapped! Furthermore, although I usually admire her, S.E. Cupp’s comment “Unlike gun safety courses, which rightly ask that gun owners prove they are responsible…” shows a lack of comprehension of the issue at hand. This is a natural right, protected by the 2nd Amendment, just like the others codified in the Bill of Rights. There is no litmus test or safety course required to exercise any of the other rights contained therein. There are already a plethora of laws on the books to deal with anyone who acts irresponsibly with a weapon; no need for test, let personal responsibility be your guide. Did Cupp take a test to prove she would wield her 1st Amendment rights responsibly? I don’t think so! Let’s see what happens when we re-write her comment to address the 1st Amendment -”Unlike journalism safety courses, which rightly ask that journalists prove they are responsible…” The press on both sides would have a pink pantie melt down!

  • Her are a few words of encouragement for those who experience similar feelings:
“I have not yet begun to fight” – John Paul Jones

“Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.” — Thomas Paine

Over? Did you say “over”? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! – Bluto Blutarski

  • This will probably work out for them about as well as it did for that outdoor show in PA that nixed the ARs!

  • As a retired infantryman I can only recall the posters we had in our barracks that had a CIB over this saying – No amount of regulation or legislation will make a 90 pound woman do anything with a 110 pound ruck except sit on it.

  • Coward is the correct word. Anyone who advocates restricting a natural right protected by the Bill of Rights is either a coward, or seditious, or both. If you fear an armed populace because of a few sick individual acts you are a coward. If you then advocate to limit my ability to defend myself from these same sick individuals you are acting out from a sense of cowardice. You are less than a man. If you are using the acts of a few crazed individuals to advance a political agenda that is counter to the U.S. Constitution then you are agent of sedition or treason. I did not spend 20 years in the Infantry defending the Constitution against numerous foreign foes only to allow the domestic enemies to tear this great nation down from the inside. Tyranny repeatedly raises its loathsome head and requires men with clear purpose and stout hearts to stand against it. These men are true patriots who will once again heed liberty’s call. Keep your faith, remember your oath, and don’t let the bastards wear you down!

  • @Deoppressoliber
“Will the catholics sell us down the drain again? That is the first question.” I think you can bet on that. I live in a predominantly Catholic area that is also mostly Democrat politically. When I ask the Catholics I know how they can reconcile their faith with the Democrats stand on abortion all I get are slack-jawed glassy-eyed looks of ignorance. It appears they, like most liberals, lack critical thinking skills. Most vote for Dems because they have been taught from a young age that the Democrats are there to help the underprivileged and poor. The problem is that they don’t see that this is being done against my will with my hard earned money by the government instead of through the charity of their church as it should.
