  Lou Holtz, a quitter???!!!! Wow… how about a realist. I feel sorry for the ignorance of the younger generations as older, more experienced; more educated individuals can see this man for what he is. We were taught what socialism is, were taught what fascism is, we were taught what Progressivism is. The younger generation is all about me, me, me and you have learned nothing about what has made America great. ObamaCare will destroy small business in this country and with it the middle class. It’s textbook progressivism/fascism. The middleclass worker will seek to have the cost of ObamaCare subsidized and will be driven into Unions and Major corporations to avoid having to pay the full amount of the ObamaCare tax. Small businesses will not be able to keep workers, so they will wither on the vine.

  This will all come to pass if the Republicans do not take the Senate and stop this abomination before it is fully implemented. For those that think this is about healthcare for poor people are fools, it’s just like gun control is all about safety.

  Let the Liberals/Socialists/Progressives that control state legislatures do as they will on gun control and in turn let the conservative/libertarian/Constitutionalist do the same in their states and we will compare notes. In the end you will find the nuts will gravitate to the liberal states and not the conservative states because they know that they will get their heads blown off before they have a chance to fire more than once in states like Texas. Do you gun-control morons really believe that the criminals/nuts/crazies will give up their weapons because another law was passed? We have armed guards/police in our schools in Texas and guess what nobody goes there to shoot people that’s because they go to places that advertise they are a “gun free zone”, they may be crazy but they are not stupid. If you want to make your state a “gun free zone” then be ready to bury more of your children.

  By choice or necessity, it will happen if the country continues on this path. The dollar will collapse and the Federal government will be unable to function. In some respects local governments already have, look at the bankrupt cities and states around the country today and the pitiful response from FEMA in the northeast.. California cities cannot provide police protection for it’s citizens today and telling their citizens to arm themselves. If the Federal Government collapses you will be amazed how quickly conservative practices will be adopted. They will drill for oil in California so fast it will make your head spin. If the rest of the country thinks the Obama’s ideas are good let them live with it. Instead of looking at the states that have their act together (Texas, the Dakotas, Wyoming, etc.) they continue down the “California Path” of over regulation, over taxation, and increased unionization. This a recipe for disaster. We have one chance left as a country to stop this train wreck and that will be for the Republicans to take the Senate and hold the House and undue Obama-care. Obama-care will destroy small business, the health insurance industry, the health care system, Medi-care and ultimately the middle class and it is a back door to the unionization of America. When the insurance choice is removed the the Obama-care tax will rise and keep rising till it consumes all of your disposable income. It will rob businesses and corporations of their net profits.

  Acorn is still out there, they are just operating under different names, The voter fraud will always be a problem until we get serious about voter I.D.’s, but it is most likely too late. In St. Lucie county in Florida, every single precinct reported vote totals over registered voters, some as high as 158%, none less than 113%. You can’t view this any other way, it is voter fraud. The same thing occurred in Pennsylvania, Ohio etc. We need photo I.D.s to buy liquor, guns, volunteer, drive, travel,etc, but to suggest that voters would be repressed or discriminated against with the use of a photo I.D. is ludicrous.

  Yes there is a large number of conservatives/republicans who know the game is rigged and with the media being the groveling, boot licking lapdogs for this president there is a sense that it’s time to recreate the concept that is America elsewhere. Let the rest of the country go the way of California and recreate the “Shinning City on the Hill”. It is inevitable as we had the one chance to stop the train wreck but the “takers” have exceeded the producers. History tells us that this will happen and history also tells us the the producers will leave. It has happened every single time. You only have to look at France to see the latest version of it. Britain went after the producers and they left the country, realizing the error of their ways they have now lowered their top marginal rate to stop the exodus.   Scalia didn’t answer the question he just refused to entertain it. Apparently our forefathers had the right to secede from Great Britain and they did. We have a constitution that even states we the people have the right to abolish any government that becomes offensive to the people. This is a matter of opinion, of judgement. I am sure that there are people in this country that will welcome what this government has in-store for it, just as there are people that are totally against what’s coming.

  If the people of Texas vote and decide to leave the union, how exactly is the federal government going to enforce an intangible concept? Is Obama going to send federal troops to Texas to make us like him or force us to change our “collective” minds? It truly is “at the will of the people”. Only if Obama is willing to enslave the entire state, then I cannot not see any physical way he can enforce citizens of a free nation to be loyal and that is exactly what we are talking about here, true freedom. If we are truly a free nation, then Texas or any state has the right, given by God to govern itself.
