  This is a sad, sad thing for this family. If you know anyone with depression, here are a few more ideas that can help depression: Make sure Vitamin D level is 60-90. Very important that your vitamin levels are normal. Make sure getting enough fish oil and omega fatty acids in diet. High protein, low simple carb diets that help stabilize blood sugar, no big swings in blood sugar. Some people get very moody or suddenly depressed when blood sugar drops after a high spike. Get a real nutrition consult. Nutritionist often use different “normal” blood levels than medical doctors. Exercise 30 min daily. 3-4 hours of exercise a week has been shown to be as effective as some of our best medications. Chiropractic and acupuncture are very helpful for many. Daily prayer and meditation on Scripture.

  Veterans would be smart to demand a non-unionized VA Hospital system. Can’t get rid of employees who drink, do drugs, don’t show up for work….who gets caught in the middle- the Veterans who are supposed to be receiving care. I took a huge pay cut to come out of the VA to get away from the union. The union only cared for the union, not the patients.

  Wow. So God-o-phobic, Biblephobic, Christianphobic. A child reading her own work aloud, or even reading the Bible or Quar’an or whether it is at school, on the sidewalk, in a public library is expressing her own thoughts, feelings, or topic that she finds worthy of thought. It is called FREE speech. If these people don’t believe in God, why do they make such a big deal over someone else mentioning God? After all to them it’s a fairy tale.

  Take responsibility for your voting precinct. Join/support True the Vote. It was eye-opening to be a poll observer. EVERY POLLING STATION and EVERY COUNTING STATION needs to be MONITORED. Just having an observer helps people stay on the up and up and serves to hold voting officials accountable.
