With these illegal immigrants infected with antibiotic resistant tuberculosis, Dengue fever, measles, H1N1, scabies, lice, chicken pix, etc., you are putting yourself and others at very high risk of contracting disease and spreading it to others….especially with serving food and delivering bears that will become germ havens to spread disease. I know your heart is telling you to do this, but sometimes making decisions based on emotion can be disastrous, and even deadly. Reality is brutal much of the time. What we do, how we react to this crisis will determine how many more illegals cross our borders. If they (Central Americans) know the people they send are being taken care of, they’ll keep sending them. That’s reality. It’s awful, but it’s reality. Glenn, what about ALL the American children who are shackled and imprisoned by our national debt? I don’t see where you are donating to the govt. to reduce the debt. $18 TRILLION now…our own children, our own country, have and has no future with this debt, which means children all over the world will also have no future given how much money taxpayers and charities give to people worldwide. Our problems are much bigger and and much closer to home. If we don’t solve our debt and if we don’t secure our borders, we no longer have a country. That’s reality.

Great book: The Great Global Warming Blunder: How Mother Nature Fooled the World’s Top Climate Scientists by Roy W. Spencer, former NASA Senior Climatologist.
Also, “Ice cores provide the historic record and samples from Mauna Loa provide the recent record. Both are drastically smoothed thus eliminating variability. This was done to tie in with the pre-industrial levels. Ernst Beck confirmed Jaworowski’s research in a September 2008 article in Energy and Environment and validated all the 19th century records. In a devastating conclusion Beck writes,“Modern greenhouse hypothesis is based on the work of G.S. Callendar and C.D. Keeling, following S. Arrhenius, as latterly popularized by the IPCC. Review of available literature raise the question if these authors have systematically discarded a large number of valid technical papers and older atmospheric CO2 determinations because they did not fit their hypothesis? Obviously they use only a few carefully selected values from the older literature, invariably choosing results that are consistent with the hypothesis of an induced rise of CO2 in air caused by the burning of fossil fuel.” http://www.climatedepot.com/2009/12/28/climatologist-time-to-revisit-falsified-science-of-co2/
Professor Beck found that the founders of modern greenhouse theory, Guy Stewart Callendar and Charles David Keeling (a special idol of Al Gore’s), had completely ignored careful and systematic measurements by some of the most famous names of p

Thanks for the information VETMIKE. So I cannot go buy a Koran that is translated to English….at all? I am thinking this: As a Christian, who has not exactly followed the teaching of Christ when He said to go out into the world and preach the Gospel (I haven’t even gone out into America to preach the Gospel), and knowing most Christians in the United States haven’t spread the Good News of Christ, either, I’m thinking it is our own fault that another religion, or radical version of a religion (I just don’t know yet), is having a stronger and stronger foothold in America.
I, as most Americans, have spent my days and nights making money, spending it with family/friends, etc. I haven’t done anything to fulfill the Great Commission. I haven’t gone to the prisons to share Christ’s teachings, I haven’t done anything I tell you!! So, as a Christian, isn’t it my fault that things have even gotten this far? The spread of Islam is mind-blowing, which is part of the big picture here. If Christians were focused on what Christ told us to do, perhaps there wouldn’t be 1.3 Billion Muslims in the world…and many of those Muslims would instead be Christians?
I understand this wouldn’t solve all the problems, but those who wish to do us harm surely wouldn’t be as populous and if America was a STRONGER Christian nation, perhaps the before-mentioned wouldn’t feel as emboldened or think they would have much success infiltrating our nation?

After reading the article and comments, and reflecting on the past several years of news and history itself, I ask you all: Are we, then, in a religious war? My guess is, folks will be hesitant, certainly in a mainstream public forum, to answer this question honestly. But I thought I might get some pretty good answers in this forum. I have never read the Koran, so I can honestly say that I do not understand the religion or REALLY know what it stands for, what it teaches. I hear some folks say it is a “peaceful religion.” I hear some folks say it is absolutely NOT a peaceful religion. And I hear some folks say that Islam is the green horse of death seen in Revelation 6:8.
If you answered “yes” to my first question, my second question is: With our Constitution, how do Americans fight a religious war?
Third, Fourth & Fifth questions: How is it that someone who is really here in the U.S. illegally gets to have a trial and go to a U.S. prison? How is it American citizens have to pay for the incarceration of illegals? Do our Constitution and governing laws really protect illegals?
Sixth question: How many illegals are in the U.S. right now that are jihadists?
Seventh question: What do we do about this? .
Eighth question: for “NZKIW”: Do you have a link to your numbered points you made? I would like to look at the source.
Thank you.! God bless
Some very good questions. As to the Quran, it is still printed in the Arabic used in the 6th and 7th century. Muslims believe it is blasphemy to interpret or re-phrase the Quran. For those Muslims able to read this would be like your reading the BIble in Aramic and 1st century Greek. The Muslims also believe that the "newer" writings are more authoritative then the earlier. The later Suras (books) are quite violent and advocate violence towards "infidels". Muslims believe that the Quran orders and condones the killing of non-believers. There may be tens of thousands of Jihadists here now but no-one knows because the Federal government doesn't really track them. A lot of Liberal Judges and activists have argued (and successfully) that the Constitution protects everyone on American soil no matter how they arrived. I a word, the Muslim fellow travelers here use the Constitution to aid and and abet them. And, lastly, there are a lot of us trying to do something but we are blocked at every turn by Liberal/Socialists. An activist Federal Judge has found that Sheriff Joe illegally targets illegals. WTF is with that! Don't give up but remember that many around you are sheep who would willingly give up all their freedoms to gain a little security.

I would have to answer the question in this way. Islam is at war with the world so we are at war with Islam! As for your question about our Constitution and being able to fight such a war against religion, I don't see a problem. Our Constitution allows us defend ourselves somebody attacks, you defend yourself. The fact that it's a religious ideology driving The attack does not alter the need for defense!
To answer your fourth fifth and sixth question I would say, bleeding heart liberals are the driving force behind this kind of coddling to criminals and illegal's, along with politician who seek the liberal vote, worked in concert to give these criminals rights under our Constitution and have made it very difficult to prosecute or deport these people.
What do we do about it? Seal the southern border, deport and prosecute criminal activity & those that entered the country illegally as they are caught breaking our laws . We actively seek to find those that would harm us that may be in this country right now. We fix our immigration system so that we can have legal immigration that works.
To sum this all up, we don't want is people in this country that do not respect our laws, do not want to integrate and just seek to do us harm. This song is about that kind of person. It's called “The Devils Song” http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_10789987
I have been watching the rise of Islamism since the 9/11 attack with increasing alarm. Initially, when I started to point out the threat, I was sometimes regarded as a bit of a kook. Even before joining the Blaze about two and a half years ago, I had amassed a large amount of evidence from the web, and that pile has only increased.
Rather than give you a long list of links, I would point you to certain areas and let you check it out for yourself.
Firstly, and most importantly, is "The Project". The Blaze has done two or three stories on this already so search their archives by entering that into their search bar or start here:
Next, you need to look at Jihad. here is a very good explanation:
Then you need to look at the first two jihads, as the Islamists are generally following the same playbook.
Youtube is a good resource. Type "Islam" and your point of interest into the search bar - i.e. "Islam and europe".
Also keep an eye on Memri, Walid Shoebat, and Jihad Watch. Atlas Shrugs is quite good, but tends toward hyperbole. They keep very up-to-date, though, and post stuff that others ignore. As you do that you will find other good sites on your own.
I warn you that it will cost you a bit of time. Good luck with it...

Why is no one talking about, and why didn’t the congressmen ask more questions about, the fact that our FEST team wasn’t deployed during the Benghazi attacks?? Mr. Thompson indicated his team could have been on the ground in Benghazi in 4 hours, so why in the hell do we have this team if our government isn’t going to use it in precisely the crisis it was designed for? The Dept of State’s website indicates, “The FEST is the U.S. Government’s only interagency, on-call team poised to rapidly respond to terrorist incidents worldwide. The FEST assists and advises the U.S. Ambassador in assessing the situation and coordinating USG crisis response activities.” http://www.state.gov/j/ct/rls/bio/95715.htm There’s no way our government could have known how long the attacks were going to occur or if there were going to be additional attacks (embassy in Tripoli?), so what justification do they give for NOT using this resource? It could have saved lives and at the very least, could have assisted in evacuation efforts of Benghazi/Tripoli personnel. It blows my mind how this part of yesterday’s hearing was not pursued more aggressively and why isn’t anyone asking the question “Why didn’t we deploy FEST immediately?”

Amen Nilo. God has lifted His blessings on and protection of America and will continue to do so as America continues to turn her back on Him. We will become the next Sodom & Gomorrah. America, the nation, has already condoned the pre-meditated murder of millions of God’s children, God’s miracle of life. He will no longer bless us with procreation since we are throwing His gift of life in his face and saying “no thanks.” Evil people have been and are in positions of power in America and are destroying this nation from the inside out. Christians must re-educate, or in some cases educate for the first time other Americans and must inspire Americans to speak out, protest, act to change things NOW or we will lose this spiritual battle. That is what this is, it’s a spiritual battle between good and evil. This spiritual battle MUST be recognized and Christians, Jews, Catholics MUST fight on God’s side. He gave us life; He can take life away. Christ confirmed God would, again, destroy those who practice sodomy (homosexuality). How can anyone claiming to be a Christian not understand this? Is it because most who call themselves Christians have never read and/or understand the Bible? God and Jesus were clear, sodomy (homosexuality) is an abomination (reviled, evil, a perversion of what God created, a sin against nature). God will not tolerate it and will destroy Sodomites just as He did before. But he didn’t just destroy Sodomites; He destroyed entire cities of Sodom

Scalia is right. If we do not protect and defend moral grounding in our laws, then what will guide our laws? If we take morality out of the equation, then what would stop civil rights activists from claiming it’s our right to murder another human being or steal from another person or lie on the witness stand? They’ve already done it with abortion and many have tried to do it with euthanasia. The majority of Americans believe in Christ, yet civil rights activists are at war with Christianity. Why? Because Christianity teaches the morals many of our laws are based on. The Supreme Court has already done enough damage to morality reflected in our laws, most notably Roe v Wade. Activist justices who have immorally and wrongly interpreted the Constitution are responsible for the pre-meditated murder of over 50 million human beings. Our country was founded on CHRISTIAN MORALS AND PRINCIPLES and evil people are doing everything they can to erase those morals and principles! The ONLY reason God has blessed America as He has is because America stood for Christian, godly morals and principles. He is lifting His blessings and protection of America as America turns her back on God. God destroyed cities because of the practice of homosexuality and Jesus Christ PROMISED IT WOULD HAPPEN AGAIN. The fastest path to America’s complete demise is to condone and legalize that which God hates. He doesn’t hate the sinner. He hates sin. He will destroy America if we don’t stop this!
"If we do not protect and defend moral grounding in our laws, then what will guide our laws?"
ummmmm - the Constitution?
@ SOYBOMB; the constitution is designed to establish a functioning central government. The wisdom of the founders was to not get the central government involved in the decisions of the people within individual states. The constitution establishes individual rights and leaves to the states and the people of the states to enact the laws they deem appropriate for their state to function in a lawful society. The "laws" within the constitution dictating to states and individuals did not turn out to good; ie the 18th and 21st amendments.
To you & those likeminded, Samuel Adams said, "If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
You have to yield to the authority of the constitution for it to be of any value. Morphing the meaning of it to fit whatever your particular whim, protects no one & means you acquiesce to the authority of those who rule over you & interpret it to their liking.
our laws should be decided based on the Constitution - pure and simple. To argue otherwise makes you a progressive. Nowhere in this article does Scalia distinguish between federal and state powers
@ SOYBOMB; Scalia was quoted, "My Constitution is a very flexible one,” he said. “There’s nothing in there about abortion. It’s up to the citizens. … The same with the death penalty.” He is disguinishing between Federal and State laws. Concerning Federal and State powers, his comment about flexibility is derived from the 10th amendment which states, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." Ultimately it is up to the people within the states to enact moral laws based on the fact that the Constitution does not address what is moral or immoral!
"If we do not protect and defend moral grounding in our laws, then what will guide our laws? "
So it should then be illegal to charge interest on a low income person struggling to pay back their loan? After all, that is quite immoral to do, and something that the Old Testament addresses.
i think it is immoral to cheat on your wife or be a bad dad - but what business is it of the government?

Yes he is Socialist and believes in Socialism, he just calls it “Progressive” now. And he’s used hundreds of millions of dollars starting 100s of organizations with the goal of changing society’s perceptions (through media, civil service, etc) and changing 100s of educational institutions to teach his Leftist crap to the people. George’s The Open Society has been wreaking havoc on American citizens’ values and morals for years, and we’re seeing the fruits of his money and evil in the American people. They’ve been brainwashed by him, through 100s of avenues. He is responsible for this country’s demise. And if someone doesn’t stop him, our country will be completely unrecognizable in the near future. He has his puppet in the White House for another 4 years, plenty of time for him to completely change America into a Socialist country.

According to newspaper in Cairo and according to The Center for Advanced Defense Studies, the protests in Cairo and Tunisia were pre-planned anyway. The “video” just exacerbated the protests. http://c4ads.org/latest/?p=872http://thedailynewsegypt.com/2012/09/13/further-violent-protests-against-anti-muslim-film/ “Before one can identify the social grievances that led some Tunisians and Egyptians to join in the protests, it is imperative to understand how these protests began. Egyptian Salafis manufactured protests, looking to arouse political violence against the US and challenge the US-allied Egyptian government. “Innocence of Muslims” was first introduced into the public consciousness in Egypt by Islamist newscaster Khaled Abdallah, who broadcast the the film’s trailer dubbed in Arabic on September 9, on the Salafi-supported television channel Al-Nas. A few hundred Salafis, who had reportedly been planning to protest at the US embassy on September 11 since before the video was broadcast, led the initial protests. Eventually, they were joined by approximately 1,700 others, mostly young men. Similarly, in Tunisia 300 hard-line Salafis led 1,000 protesters, again mostly young men, in an attack on the US embassy in Tunis.”

What about Benghazi Mr. President? AP? Candy Crowley? Get the transcript!! He did NOT say the Benghazi attack was an ‘act of terror!!!!!” I pray we find out very, very soon the very DARK secrets this administration is hiding. I pray the intelligence officials go rogue and expose him for the lying piece of … he really is! Sorry, I’m mad. Mitt did a great job, as well as he could with 3 FEWER MINUTES than Obama and constant shushing by moderator!!!
