  Absurdity ! The only thing permits, licences, reistrations, etc. are about, is revenue collecting and power. They prevent no real crime and force the honest citizen to cough up and jump through hoops.
  Revenue collecting, ( taxes ) and power is about 99% of what motivates our political class and maybe 1% the time, they may exspend effort, actually doing their real jobs, which is protecting us and our property from real criminals. In a round about way, this artcle proves the saying, when you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have them.

  Somehow, I don’t believe it about the poll that says something like 91% of the people are in favor of universal background checks. Since when can you get the american people to agree, much more than 50 or , at the most 60 % on anything. If you polled the quetion, Does 2 + 2= 4 you’d probably be lucky to get 91% ! If the american people did in fact poll that high in favor of universal background checks then i fear america is truly lost. If you can’t see that these background checks can only eventually lead to the loss of all your rights then we have a case of the blind leading the blind and America will fall into the ditch.

  Background checks are useless feelgood gestures only. They prove nothing and are an enormous waste of time and money.. A person checks out squeky clean and a short time later snaps and kills. People who may have something on their record are denied their property rights for life and yet may have been the safest gun owner imaginable. No one has a crystal Ball, and to deny a person the right to self defense, based on what might happen, is nothing short of tyranny.
