What a great story. It’s amazingly true, as I did 3-tours in Vietnam myself, and the return home was one I want to forget. However, in the past few years I have received more thanks for my service than I had in the previous several decades, and what a difference it makes in the way you feel about yourself and your country. A little support goes a long way. We need to support our troops, …ALWAYS! They risk their lives, limbs and sanity for all of us, no matter which side of the aisle you support.
Thank you Mr. Smith! And Thank You too FreedomFytr!!! Think I'll put on a CCR album, crank it up, and go work in the yard. Good Day!
You know, it's strange, but those who badmouthed us, treated us shabbily, even assaulted us; never managed to change how I felt about this country. Maybe being a "Military Brat" before I enlisted, I was already too well-indoctrinated, but I kept my animosity toward them and the politicians who let us down completely separate from my feelings about America.
I did three years in that place, saw things I pray I'll forget someday, as well as things that only reinforced how I felt about America, the Marine Corps and the Marines I served with; things that made me PROUD to have come through it. I dunno - even after all these years, I still can't seem to say it right. I'm sure some of you other Vets know what I mean.
Thing is, it looks like this old country needs even the likes of a bunch of old warriors who may not be quite as full of piss and vinegar as we were a half-century past but still love the old girl for what she always represented to us. HOME.

I’m done with that food chain.

No matter who sings it, it’s always great music to my ears! However, it’s especially sweet to hear our youth sing it with such sincerity.
Roseanne Barr's rendition was unbearable. But yes other than that you are correct.

I would avoid Google as much as possible. They run a proprietary type system, and consequently you will find yourself on the losing end every time. Your data is their data, period! Your privacy is at their discretion, period! And don’t forget, they also have close ties to this socialist administration, another reason to be very cautious.

As a part-time cowboy myself living in Arizona for 30+ years, I thought he looked the part pretty darn good.

John Kerry, who threw his dog tags and award ribbons away, only served 3-1/2 months on PBR duty in the combat zone, before he fraudulently got his 3 Purple Hearts, so he could get his early discharge. During the same timeframe I did 33-1/2 months in the Mekong Delta of which the first 11-1/2 months was PBR duty during the Tet Offensive. And I can tell you that our Secretary of State is as big a liar as our President. No wonder our country is in such bad shape today!

We’ve already got the most non-transparent Liar-in-Chief in the White House. Do we now want a criminal, hypocrite and yes, another secretive liar to follow suit, just because she’s a woman. Can’t we do better than that? I mean how desperate to replace Obama are we? There are some great Constitutional Conservatives out there, who still believe in America and its people, and who refreshingly speak the TRUTH. It’s amazing, when we grew up, we used to hold that office in high regard. What ever happened to this country?

How about an Amendment for Term Limits first, and we can work from there!
I like what you are proposing. Also the repeal of the 17th amendment would be good. Let the States be represented once again

Finally, someone I can agree with!

She’s not even worth a comment!

Get us out of that stupid kindergarten class of idiots, and get them off our soil NOW! That also goes to show the ignorance of Obama reaching out for UN approval on this Iran deal, versus consulting with our own Congress.

In my opinion, you should still have the right to pick and choose who you are willing to do business with, …period. A transaction is a mutual meeting of the minds, which includes mutual respect and trust. If that doesn’t exist, why should a proprietor be forced to do business with another party? Way too much government intervention here! We have lost so much freedom in this country, it is beginning to make me sick!

It took them a few days to figure that way out. And maybe the Clintons also bumped up the Obamas bank account a couple MIL for that concession. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors?

What is the recent cliché going around, “The enemy of my enemy is my enemy”!?
