Please advise where in the Constitution the fed has the right to seize lands belonging to the states? And on top of that demand fees be paid for grazing rights the property owner already paid to the state? Why is the fed holding 85% of Nevada land? Why has the fed seized most of the land of all the Western states? This has happened to no other states in the country – just those in the West.

Gandhi was a fraud. It’s easy to stand up for freedom and your rights when the enemy you are facing got bored with your country long ago and were already in the process of leaving. MLK’s timing was also flawless. Like the abolitionists of the past, people were already mobilized to do away with segregation and Jim Crow laws.

@1TrueOne58 – If that were true then the itchy-trigger-fingered wild right wingers would have fired a salvo to start a range war. They didn’t. They didn’t want to be the ones who started the shooting – which tells me they weren’t the wild-eyed right-wingers you suggest they were.
What is this guys obsession with the Koch brothers? They are social libertarians who back gay marriage. The left have Soros and Andy Sterns among others. But public enemy number one is the Koch brothers’?
Exactly....."My calendar is full. I am taking that day off for root canal. My dog died." Or the best one yet, "I plan to have a bad case of projectile diarrhea that day."
Lying would also violate their religious beliefs.
Also, the gay nazis are a little more clever than that. They book the event and then inform them it's for a gay wedding.
That's a good idea, since lying isn't against xian religious beliefs.
I'd rather repent for lying then support an abomination.
booked solid for months
She should have just taken horribly bad, unfocused pictures, pictures of the ceiling and floor. Couldn't sue her for incompetence, because she tried. If more people would just do that, there would be less lawsuits and precedence.
termy t, you are correct, but a simple thing would be to call out sick that day and sublet it over to another photog.
You might be able to get away with assigning people to join a private club. Have bakers, photographers, etc all be part of this club that offers services to its members for a fee. Charter by laws would preclude any services being rendered for events or situations deemed against the nature and moral guidelines of the charter. The SCOTUS has been wishy washy on this, demanding that Rotary Clubs admit women but the BSA doesn't have to admit sexual deviants.
Anyone else ever remember seeing signs on restaurants...No shirt, no shoes, no service? Regardless of where someone stands on the gay marriage issue, is it not the right of a business to accept or refuse business as their choice?
termyt "Lying would also violate their religious beliefs."
Then they do not understand covert activity. Accepted by the God they believe in as evidenced by the spies in Jericho. They sinned not. Or lowering a servant of God in a basket. Maybe it would do them good to understand better that which they believe in.
On your second point maybe as a business they only book in person. If they don't like the look of the client they could claim sorry all booked up without anyone else being the wiser as to their real thoughts. If discrimination is claimed they will need to prove it in court. Puts the burden on those 'clever ones' as you call them. If they are so 'clever' they watch to see if the booking was real the business can always say the party cancelled. Be wiser than the serpent and beat them at their own game. Even keep a fake 'booked up' book. These types of tactics worked for the mob for decades, except unlike the mob they are not criminals they are merely being clever at exercising their God given rights. They are being forced to be devious in light of today's attacks on freedom. A business has a right to refuse service no matter what a state court claims. The trick is to give the enemy no ammo to use against you.
Id simply tell them I am booked till May or June or after the date of their wedding...simple, and not illegal
Back in 1960 Woolwoths tried that, it didn't work! When it comes to "denial of service" There a few (hard and fast) allowable reasons. "no" is not one of them. Eventually a history of denials is enough to land you in hot water.
Well that would be nice but judgmental snobs love a chance to bleat their snobbiness so they kind of got themselves into trouble that way. TOO bad!
Exactly, A simple...we are already booked that day would suffice.

Or just say no but don’t give them a reason. They can’t sue if no reason is given.
April 7, 2014 at 11:51am
And you would never get sued for it. These people (the bakers, florists and photographers) all got sued because they TOLD the homosexuals WHY they were being refused. Just give no reason and they can’t sue.

Try as you might, gay will never be the new black.

Their beef is it is being held on church grounds and the flyers were handed out at the schools.

Good for the Army? I’m embarrassed for the Army. An upside down flag (and this one was displayed correctly) means a country in distress. These people were protecting police brutality in executing an unarmed homeless man.
April 3, 2014 at 12:32pm
Except that it actually means the country is in distress.
April 3, 2014 at 11:42am
An upside down American flag signifies a country in distress. I have been flying the colors upside down since the Kelo decision. Anyone looking at the current state of affairs in this country can’t but notice we are a country in distress.
Thank you.....this was taught in every classroom in America when children were in Kindergarten, as part of their "Flag Salute" lessons...how to fold a flag, why we say the Pledge of Allegiance, how to dispose of an old flag, distress if flag is flown upside down.....how not to ever let the flag touch the ground, sunset on the flag is a no no.........but now there's not even a flag in every classroom, and they don't say the Pledge of Allegiance anymore so there you go!
Here's hoping you get your ass kicked by the marines as well.

What are hospitals all over the country stealing people? You would think they’d go after indigent people with no families, but they are stealing people from families that obviously care. Lord help us!
Well, somebody's got to pay the bill for all those without insurance. He probably had insurance that paid for psychiatric care and the hospital saw a good opportunity. Notice that they said they might discharge him on May 7th? I'll bet you dollars to donuts that's when his psychiatric insurance runs out.

Violins have been cool ever since the devil went down to Georgia.
She’s right and we’ve had it too easy in this country. Christians around the world are being killed for their faith and we bow down to communist laws meant only to shut us down.
March 26, 2014 at 10:03am
Hogslop! They chose align themselves with the world rather than with God (something a supposedly “Christian” org is supposed to do) and now need to be cut off by their Christian donors. Let them get their funding from the world.

I also found that comment strange for a guy who told his congregation to stop looking at the world through their black eyes.

You could do it. Do you belong to a church? If so, see about starting a one-room school house within the church. I’m sure you’d have lot’s of people who could volunteer to teach it. Also, see if any of your neighbors home school. Ask them if they could take your child.
This has to be a community thing. People who go it alone can be picked off. But if you get to know your neighbors and act as a community you’ll find they have the same concerns you do. Pool your resources. But someone has to take that first step. Why not you?
