  False. Silver’s method requires him to change the weight of polls he selects in order to produce his models. For example, if he feels that democrats are not properly represented in the results due to the latino population, or attempt to compensate for a lack of cell phone based polls. His attempt to change to explain the polls requires GUT FEELING that the numbers don’t reflect what they should.
  Silver has admitted that the polls probably contain a systemic problem that over-samples and represents democrats based on 2008 enthusiasm.

  His sabermetrics are based on baseball methodology. We don’t play a 7 game series for president, we have one election, and statistics simply can’t quantify all the factors that result in voter turnout.

  If this technology is perfected, and safeguarded, it could ensure our military dominance indefinately. complete naval superiority, air dominance. Even spec ops could order an electronic strike on target, then clear it kinetically.
  If properly targeted to his key infrastructure, you could cripple a nation with a 100 missiles, and minimize loss of life. I wouldn’t be surprised if Israel procures this technology soon…
