evangelicals have among the lowest divorce rates (26%) and people of non-Christian denominations have the highest rates (38%). Agnostics and atheists are within the statistical margin of error of the national average of approximately 33% divorce rate. However, far fewer agnostics and atheists (65%) marry than the national average (74%). “Born again” Christians average a 78% marriage rate, the highest in that poll.
The surveys clearly show that those who read the Bible seriously and without compromise put their faith as a much higher priority in their lives. As a result, they lead very different lives, to include some of the lowest divorce rates in the country, well below the atheists, agnostics, and general public. Interestingly, those who profess faith in Jesus Christ but not in what the Bible teaches appear little different than the rest of the world.
When one looks at the data, you almost have to marvel at the chutzpah of the mockers. Not only does an honest look at the surveys vindicate biblical Christianity, it reveals the depressing picture of atheists and agnostics.

The “Faith without works is dead” argument usually gets the judgemental, hateful and spiteful anti catholic and anti mormon crowd to SHUT THE HECK UP!

Instead of banning guns perhaps we should ban the mentally ill
The best answer is that the author believed that his audience is more educated on the subject than you obviously are. Operation Wide Receiver (the Bush admin program) used RFID chips to track the ‘walked’ weapons, whereas Fast and Furious used no such close tracking technology. One of the reasons Bush ended Operation Wide Receiver was because of the failure of some of the tracking devices. Under Fast and Furious, ATF agents testified they were ordered by their superiors, to stand down and not track weapons.
As to your assertion that the author believes that semi auto AK-47s are the weapon of choice to smuggle across the border. Again he believes the audience more educated than you. The weapons of choice are 9mm, .40cal, .357 and .45cal pistols and high caliber rifles like the .50 BMG or 338 Lapua. I am including an article by STRATFOR so you may be better educated next time the subject arises. http://www.stratfor.com/weekly/20110209-mexicos-gun-supply-and-90-percent-myth

Unlike then, than is not related to time. Than is used in comparative statements.
Another pair of words that I see misused far more often than not is than and then.
He is taller than I am.
Other than the interest on a small inheritance, he had no income.
Today’s students certainly do seem to read less than students in previous generations did.
We learned more on the playground than we did in the classroom.
Despite their lack of flavor, the hothouse tomatoes cost far more than those from the farmers’ market.
Then is used either as a time marker or with a sequence of events.
I took all of the exams in the morning, and then I spent the rest of the day catching up on sleep.
Back then we knew what was expected of us.
I bought apples from this orchard last summer, but I seem to remember paying more for them then.
Look over the study guide first, and then if you still have questions bring them up in class.
No one wants to vote for a slimy individual like Gingrich.

@GARYM Newt has a very long list of negative qualifications to be POTUS.
Creation of the Federal Dept. of Education (a Marxist scheme)
Designating 68 million acres of mineral rich land in Alaska as a Federally protected wilderness (land control – Communist manifesto).
China – most favored nation status
Subsidized trade to Soviets
Transfer 2.2 million acres in Idaho via wilderness status
Federally funded loan guarantees to red China
Taxpayer funds for foreign governments through the Export/Import Bank
Amnesty to illegal immigrants
Continue foreign aid
Funding for National Endowment for the Arts
Extra $1.2 billion UN “Peacekeeping”
Presidential line item veto
$13 billion in foreign aid, 1995
$166 million more for the IRS
$31.8 billion more for foreign aid
Voted against cutting foreign aid by a tiny 1%
Promoted the return of the Fairness Doctrine.
Starred with Nancy Pelosi in commercials about the need for government action on global warming.
Supported govt. mandated healthcare
Worked with Bill Clinton (CFR member) to get NAFTA and GATT passed through a lame duck session.
1995, Warren Christopher from Clinton’s cabinet describes Gingrich in one word as, “Internationalist.”
Newt’s recommended reading for Congress:
Declaration of Independence (great)
NOT the Constitution (what?)
The Third Wave by Alvin Toffler ( recommends a whole new system of government)
Also wrote a foreword for Toffler’s book, “A New Civilization.” Called himself a “conservative futurist”
sadly your right ANEWME. I don’t like Newt…I think he is Barney Rubble with a Thyroid problem….but Nazi Nancy is just a coward….put up or shut up.
