  Although, you might need to consider the inflation rate. If you retire now, what happens when super inflation hits? I remember during Carter time, our raises at work were 25%, just to keep up with the inflation. Sorry, not much help here.

  I am not a Christian either, but I truely think Christianity has it right – Follow the teachings of Christ and people in society may live in peace and prosper.

  ScottFree, at 23, yours is the right mind set to have – work hard, get married, …. However, beware that there are many disappointments in life. For example, wife and children are other people, it will be hard for you to make sure they cooperate with you completely in life; especially children, when they hit teenage age, they turn into aliens.

  So, because of these set-backs, you might go into low-points. Please remember there is really brighter and happier light at the end of the tunnel. Really !! See what happened to Glenn Beck. He had gone through several of these deep depressed times, he came out wiser, happier, brighter; most importantly, he grew into a real man, who no longer think of the “Self,” he wants to help The People.

  Scott, every time you come out of one of those deep dark times, your vision will grow wider, from Self to Family to Nation to the World, finally you can understand our minute postion in the universe. By then, your days will be filled with happy, care free feeling, nothing will bother you anymore.

  That is why Glenn Beck can concentrate on his visions, with so many people nipping at his heels. He knows where he is going, he knows what he wants to do is right.

  If you get there, Scott, you will be just as sure as Glenn is right now.
