The innocent students who were punished along with the guilty just learned a lesson more valuable than everything else they were taught in school combined:
Life ain't fair.

Who wrote this headline? Why the hell do we need to know the man is GAY? Homosexuals comprise 2-3% of our population and if you read the mainstream media (and The Blaze, evidently) you would get the impression that 90% of Americans are homosexuals.
If I were to describe a ‘typical’ American gleaned from the most recent census would sexual preference enter into it?
OK, I have to stop now…

“On November 5, 2009, a mass murder took place at Fort Hood, near Killeen, Texas. Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major and psychiatrist, fatally shot 13 people and injured more than 30 others. The shooting produced more casualties than any other on an American military base. Several individuals, including Senator Joe Lieberman, General Barry McCaffrey, and others have called the event a terrorist attack. The United States Department of Defense and federal law enforcement agencies have classified the shootings as an act of workplace violence.”
Really? A man runs through a crowd of our heroes screaming “allahu akbar” and he is given a pass as it concerns purpose of the attack. Horse hockey!
The Army personnel were not deemed to have suffered combat injuries, initially.

The congress, with a few exceptions, is rotten to the core. The difference of a politician as compared to a statesman: the former cares about the next election; the later cares about the next generation.
I have given up trying to understand how congress conducts business in the swamp.
Waders, Alcohol, Horsefly Repellant.....make no mistake
I yearn to be a Texan! Even late in life...
texan, at this point, I'd be glad to go back to politicians instead of traitors.

I would be more inclined to believe these promulgations when these scientists tell us who caused the ‘Big Bang’. Many say it demonstrates ‘intelligent design’. Whose intelligence could possibly design the breadth and complexity of the Solar System much less all of an expanding and as of yet undiscovered universe.
I am not a scientist but I know.
you really need to take a look at the ekpyrotic theory or read 'A universe from Nothing' by Lawrence Krauss. No 'intelligent design' needed.
Me too. Does that mean I'm actually a genius?
"finsout", 'no intelligent design needed' is just the opinion of those who want to believe that.
They started out with that bias and looked for 'facts' to fit their bias.
Besides, saying one was 'not needed' is not the same as having proof that there could not have been, one.
fortherecord, if it's just an opinion of those who want to believe that, you can easily say the same thing for people that support intelligent design. You just created an argument against yourself.
In fact the examples finsout cited indicate several examples, not of opinion, of how intelligent design is not needed for such creations. Same argument for evolution- complex systems create the illusion of intelligence, but when broken apart into simpler more digestible pieces do you begin to see how un-intelligent such creations are- ex, the human eye, or the neck of a giraffe.
"fortherecord, if it’s just an opinion of those who want to believe that, you can easily say the same thing for people that support intelligent design."
Except for the fact that there is evidence for it (such as the doctors who were staunch atheists who became believers in G-d after witnessing miracles, that they knew medically, could never have happened), and no evidence proving it could not have happened.
" You just created an argument against yourself."
No I didn't, because even if you say it could go both ways I still said 'could' not 'has to'
You are claiming by arguing against me that it 'has to' and it doesn't 'have to'.
Plus science is supposedly 'objective'.
"In fact the examples finsout cited indicate several examples, not of opinion, of how intelligent design is not needed for such creations."
Then explain exactly how life got started, in the first place.
" Same argument for evolution- complex systems create the illusion of intelligence, but when broken apart into simpler more digestible pieces do you begin to see how un-intelligent such creations are- ex, the human eye, or the neck of a giraffe."
No I don't see that it's 'unintelligent'.
All you did was claim it wasn't without any actual proof, that it's not.
fortherecord, what you are referencing as evidence is not evidence. Evidence is acquired by the scientific method. The fact you used the term 'miracle' discounts it as evidence from the start since a miracle is defined as something unable to be explained.
I will not condescend on this forum by explaining how life started, not that I think you honestly thought I would; that is your responsibility by picking up a biology, chemistry, and/or physics book.
If you see the examples I stated as God's design than he/she must be a horribly inefficient designer. Since the examples I used are clearly horrible 'design.'
The burden of proof lies with the claimant.

“Conflict of interest, I don’t have no stinking conflict of interest!?! Now, white people, they have conflict of interests, that for sure. That’s why I am going to prosecute the every loving crap out of at least three of the dad gum cops.”
Ah, Avenger, you have such a wonderful way with words. LOL.
 May 4, 2015 at 4:34pm
Where is the consistency behind the hollow words? How about the many executions in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere? Where is the spirit of convert or die condemned? When was the last ‘expose’ shown/published in the American press?
If we were hearing the true beliefs of O than we would be achieving successes on the battlefield.
I am so tired of this poor excuse of an American!!!

‘British Islamic State fighter Junaid Hussain?’: since when do we not call these vermin terrorist?
Muhammad is a child molester who is probably in Hell and he speaks through his father, the devil.
A headline in the British press says: ISIS fear in Texas. I will clean this up: horse manure!!! It is a rare instance where muhammad’s blind followers actually choose to fight face to face. They are cowards who hide in the shadows and kill women and children. No fear in Texas.
Another article says: ‘Blogger Pamela Geller, 56, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative has a ‘long history of hatred’. Well, how can I say this? Bull fertilizer!!! It is called free speech. Maybe the press in England, similar to the press, don’t have a clue.
I only pray that our next president understands the history of America and how to prosecute a successful war. I would rather have us fight in the Middle East and then use the German and Japanese models of occupation. I do not doubt that we will not attempt this prior to 2017.
The media is so thoroughly afraid of being attacked for "offending" muslims that they go far, far out of their way to soft-soap the stories. Half the time, I'm amazed that they bother to even try reporting them.
But let a straight, white Christian be accused of doing something and the gloves come OFF!
I am only going to say this once to every terrorist POS... "REMEMBER THE ALAMO MOTHER F%$#@RS"
All the more reason to GLASS mecca. Then we will know our enemy!!!

I remember in a speech standing before the flag General Patton said something like: ‘The German bastards are going our there to die for their country and our job is to help them do just that.’.
Substitute muhammad for flag and we have the same approach for the 21st century we are in (maybe I should say we should have since the current commander-in-chief does not have the testículos,as the Spanish would say.
Sorry, I have to dissagree with you, our president does have baIIs, it's just that they're muslim sympathizing weather underground baIIs.
I like that but my favorite is from General Schwarzkopf during the first gulf war. It's something like, Their religion is between them and their god. Our job is to arrange the meeting.
Texasss The Muslims are Americans. You sound like Hitler. We must rid our country of Jews. Same thing Idiot
 May 4, 2015 at 2:37am
What we have is a group of people who are coming to our country and basically saying: “Your constitution and my religion are inconsistent; if you violate my religion then you will pay a price. When we have enough people we will replace your outdated document and laws with our sharia law; you either accept that or we will show up and take all of your lives.”
In some states we have the same answer that we used 239 years ago: we will meet you with violence until you either accept our way of life or leave. Your time to decide…
That's one of the reasons I'm moving there. While I'm not a big fan of Open Carry (prefer concealed carry) the fact that Texas' attitude of "We're not taking any crap from anyone" was the big attraction.
I don't think the law states you have to open carry, mcjackson. You can do either. So move here and conceal away!
Yeah but you want to bully Muslims.

“Speaking generally, breaking both the spirit and intent of the Constitution, to use your word, is not tantamount to doing anything wrong,” That should cover our actions for our eight years of purely legal but misunderstood actions.

‘Greg Abbott says he has sued Obama administration 25 times’ Thank you Mr. Attorney General during your time in office and now, as our Governor, keep up the good/necessary work.
We have been and will continue to fight for ourselves and states who are of a like spirit. Many of our friends have joined us in the legal battle.
We are unhappy here and are just not sure what our next steps are for sure. It is so unacceptable the way the president has treated our troops and the reverse on both of the active wars against those who would eliminate us (a trend by the democrats since Korea).
It is illegal for federal troops to operate in Texas and it is ironic that the same guy, who could not spell war if we spotted him the ‘wa’, has the gall to send federal troops to practice battle against patriots versus protecting our borders.
Just keep it up…

O said he would fundamentally change America and he HAS and will continue to for another two years. He squandered his time with a Democrat congress and has stonewalled (with the help of dingy harry) or simply bypassed congress since.
To his great joy he learned that he can do so without consequences and will do even more. I can only hope that judges like U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen will intervene to stop this travesty.
As long as the Speaker of the House and the Senate majority leader are mired in their corruption then I am not holding my breath.
 April 28, 2015 at 5:18pm
There will come a time!
Our country was established on the unique basis that rights are given by our Creator and, as such, cannot be taken away by man. This is the first and only time in the history of mankind that this has been declared to be so. And, as is certainly the case, is the last.
Americans are sick and tired of this crap and this evil — destroying what was established and what has continued to cost much blood and treasure to maintain. And this was won and maintained, not just for ourselves but for millions of others around the world. We are not conquerors, we are liberators.
So, there will come a time when Americans will again try to take back what has been stolen. Our biggest problem currently is that the thieves are much more determined and organized than owners of the possessions (our treasure and our children).
Your heart stops just hearing it. Then you catch your breath and say a prayer. These words hit hard. You know the weight they carry.
Why does it seem as if they mean less to those in the current administration? Is it because of certain things different officials said? Because of Obama himself? Because of his decisions that make us wince? Or because, in looking at it all in its entirety, we know that he is not like us. He lacks empathy and decency. The people he surrounds himself with are not on our side. Actions say that loud and clear. They are deaf to the sound of “officer down.”
Obama’s pick for DOJ’s Civil Rights Division speaks to that deafness. The Senate later blocked the nomination but the choice itself — an advocate for an unrepentant cop killer — was a message Obama wanted sent to those who Protect and Serve. A dead fish wrapped in newspaper.
Law Enforcement Organizations (LEOs) banded together, citizens made their voice heard and Debo Adegbile was rejected, 52-47. Obama called it “a travesty” and was furious. 47 senators on the left agreed, the same senators who refused to hear testimony from Maureen Faulker, the widow of murdered police officer Daniel Faulkner. Meanwhile, his killer, former Black Panther Mumia Abu-Jamal, became the left’s newest celebrity.
If this seems like ancient history, it is. It happened last year. Living under an oppressor affects the passage of time, as if time will never end. But it stops when we hear “officer down.”
