I wonder how Officer Daniel Faulkner’s wife hurts to this day and how she missed the opportunity to teach real compassion by sending the letters to help in her loss?

Cops have learned/been told to ‘claim’ that they smell pot/crack/guns? and are protected for conducting an illegal search. The 4th/5th amendments are going this same way of the 1st and 2nd.

As Franklin so wisely said: Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Local police would do well to put a stop to this type of attack on citizens before this gets out of hand and they begin shooting citizens in the back and lie about that too.

When we get this deal done I will transfer that pesky prison on your island to you and you can then release all of the folks that live there. What a plan!

It is hard to believe that each pilot would not have a key or combination or something to address what seems to happen. Very sad…

My personal favorite, trumping the clearing of Vince Foster’s office and the 9-11 documents stolen from the archives to protect her husband, is an amazing ability to parlay a $1000 investment to $100000:
“In 1978 and 1979, lawyer and First Lady of Arkansas Hillary Rodham engaged in a series of trades of cattle futures contracts. Her initial $1,000 investment had generated nearly $100,000 when she stopped trading after ten months. In 1994, after Hillary Rodham Clinton had become First Lady of the United States, the trading became the subject of considerable controversy regarding the likelihood of such a spectacular rate of return, possible conflict of interest, and allegations of disguised bribery,[1] allegations that Clinton strongly denied. There were no official investigations of the trading and Clinton was never charged with any wrongdoing.”
Hillary Clinton’s Cattle Futures Trading Profits”, Marshall Magazine, Winter 1998

Today 100% of Americans have the same opportunity in this great Republic. Some take a ride down the wrong street and take a chance that the number will slip to 0%.
Chris Johnson is a millionaire and I hope he makes it back.
    From ESPN:
Johnson was allegedly “riding around with friends” at 4:09 AM when their vehicle was subject to a drive-by shooting, killing the driver. Johnson was shot in the shoulder, and another surviving passenger was shot in the shoulder, leg, and hand. Johnson is in stable condition and should make a full recovery. Johnson was arrested two months ago when a Glock 9 mm and an FN 5.7 mm — two semiautomatic handguns — were discovered in his car. Turning 30 in September, there’s a very real chance we’ve seen the last of Johnson in the NFL.

This story is a snapshot of what is wrong with race relations today. You might try to support my ‘race cause’ but we have litmus tests. It is the early years of segregation turned on its head. President Bush loves this country and did what he thought should be done in the aftermath of 9-11, and he even quit playing golf while our heroes were dying. Our current President is half black but I judge him on his actions not on his color (not do I give him a pass because his father was black).
My grandfather times 2 came here in 1840 and fought for the Union Army as part of the ‘Irish Army’ from NY but I have nothing worth hearing because I am not a person of color.
We are all, white, black, brown or whatever, flawed but we need to celebrate what we have in common not what separates us. And, certainly not what happened in the unalterable past.

He came as a helpless baby but will return as a conqueror and “On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.”

“that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.”

Today is the day of salvation. It is all we have…

I searched and worked to gain happiness and joy through advancing in the business world but found it in a simple prayer.

    Come Lord Jesus.

The question that came to me about what appeared to take place was “Why”?
Was the officer having a bad day? Did they have a history between them before this offense?
I think most cops have the right personality to serve ‘we the people’ but some seem to have the mindset to ‘show the citizens just who is in charge’.
State and local agencies need to look for those who should not wear a badge before more problems occur.

Class act — good for you.

If the waiter was working and the back of the restaurant was not then pay the waiter for their hard work. It sounds like that is want this couple did.

I generally like to reward these deserving folks, regardless. I do this even when they might be having a bad day. The best way to encourage a server is to leave a good tip. If the next time in and the service is still poor, talke to the manager. Not everyone has the skills and motivation to be a great waiter.

He is respected and admired by many in his home state. Wish both of our Senators were like this but because of him the other Senator would not dare to act like Kay Bailey Hutchinson any more.
Go Ted. Be true to your beliefs above all… DC had still not figured how to take him.
But, because of the muck written by him in the Government press I believe he is getting through!

Isaac and Ishmael… continues on. I read the last book in the Bible and know who wins. Israel must continue. Thank God for the great leaders and determination to press on.

Israel should hit the number of sights dictated by the number of rockets sent against its population.

With the current targeting by the terrorists they may run out of bombs but one for one should continue until then. I sure don’t think that this confused administration will move to help them.

There are no denominations in Christianity. There are no divisions. There is only one body in the Lord and the entrance requirements are explained in Ephesians 2:8-9.
