Hey Travis, you’re a brave man to try to reach the Blaza people. I peruse this website because I’m fascinated by the delusional state of most rightwing people, and I am really trying to help wake them up. They live in a little FOX box with a Limbaugh and Beck chorus. I’m beginning to think that Imhof actually believes most of the stuff he spouts which leads me to believe that he is truly insane. Benghazi, as tragic as it is, is a very minor affair, which no one in the real world is taking seriously. A number of diplomats have been killed over the years, it goes with the territory. People still remember the farcical Clinton impeachment. In their desperation to bring down Obama, they are now scraping way down in the barrel. Where were these people when Bush/Cheney was pulling outrageous stuff, from wrecking the economy to destroying Iraq. I think the power of the rightwingers is fading, despite all the money behind them. People are catching on to who is really responsible for our decline and demographics are rapidly shifting. The Democrats are no bargain, but pale in comparison to the damage done by the completely bought and sold Republicans.

Sure, Obama’s really slipped up and we’ve been vulnerable to endless attacks by the ‘terrorists’. However, you omitted one terrorist attack we did have under Bush, namely 9/11 itself. It’s also obvious that 9/11 happened despite constant warnings from many foreign and some domestic security people that they were coming and were going to use planes to fly into buildings, and they did! Many people think Bush/Cheney deliberately ignored these warnings because they were looking for and needed an ‘incident’ to bolster their desire to create chaos and war and expand their power over a fearful America.. A year and half later they lied us into the most disastrous war we’ve had in modern times. Yeah, Bush was great on security. When oh when are you people going to start dealing with reality. Probably never, which is why the Republican reactionaries are going to go down, as 2014 will prove.

I live in ‘communist’ New York City and find it puzzling that so many young, educated people from the freeest states flock to New York to be seduced by the socialist ethos the reigns here. Very strange that they don’t seem to enjoy all the freedom in the Dakotas, Utah and the other wonderful backwater
    states!

I read these comments and scratch my head. Asides from your extreme hatred of Obama, much of it racist and all of it irrational, I can’t help but think, don’t these people know they’ve already been marginalized by mainstream America as well as the majority of the world’s population. Do you have any idea how history is going to treat you? Do you realize you are wrong on virtually every major issue of our time from who really caused the collapse of our economy, global warming, the crimes we’ve committed in Iraq and elsewhere, the need for some regulation of guns, the need for universal healthcare, financial reform, separation of church and state, demonizing the Muslim world, the list goes on and on. Basically, you people are nihilists, and would destroy our country in your anger, frustration and infantilism about accepting reality. Don’t you know there is a lot to be said for the power of positive thinking.

In just a few years, when the history of this period is written, the Republican Party will no longer be in existence and the Tea Party faction currently running the GOP will be seen for what they really are – people who wanted to turn back the clock to a time when the most backward white people ran the show and the rest of us knew our place. Fortunately, the rightwing/Tea Party people are a dwindling minority and history will remember them as radical reactionaries who tried to destroy our country so they could reassert control. It ain’t going to work and all your anger, guns, fears, money and, yes, racism won’t make any difference. The world has changed and the majority of Americans are not with you. We are the patriots and you are the treasonous ones.

Wow, you people are truly insane and delusional. No one wants to take away your dangerous toys. We just want sensible regulations. The country is not behind you on this, as you will discover over the next few weeks. All this nonsense is simply a ploy by the NRA and their financial backers to sell more guns. No major city is going to allow the proliferation of guns that can kill dozens of people in a matter of seconds, and no civilized large city is going to allow the unfettered carrying of concealed weapons or unconcealed weapons. Your paranoia is out of control. Obama is not the enemy – you are your own worst enemies. Any sane person knows that the more guns there are the more gun-related violence there will be, and this country is fed up with your childishness and idiocy. Grow up.

What did I learn on The Blaze today? Hitler wasn’t as bad as he’s been made out to be. There are good Jews and bad liberal Jews You people don’t like Obama because of his socialistic, fascist policies, or you don’t like Obama because you don’t like being pushed around by a black man. This is one crazy website which is even beneath the underbelly of America. Rightwing extremists, and most of you who read and write on this website are rightwing extremists, don’t seem to have any sense of self-worth and/or shame. Don’t you find it at least embarrassing to be on the wrong side, morally and politically, of every major issue and historical event of our time.

What a great story. Bushieleaks! Hopefully, Bush was stupid enough to include some incriminarting evidence in his e-mails. Our country seems to be on a very slow road to recovery, but we will never fully repair the damage that’s been done until the day that Bush’s sorry ass is in a jail cell for the outright treason he’s committed. against us all. This goes for Cheney too. From their deliberately putting their guard down before 9/11 to the horrific destruction of Iraq and the slaughter of at least 500,000 innocent Iraqis and 5000 American military killed and tens of thousand permanently damaged American soldiers, these bastards should never be forgiven for what they’ve done to our country.

Every now and then I check into The Blaze to see how the rightwingers and ill-informed are doing. This time I’ve almost been brought to tears by the absolutely crazy responses to this tragic shooting. I don’t expect you people to get it but there is no conspiracy. This country is suffering from too many wars, too many guns and too much bad propaganda and brainwashing. The killer here was brain damaged by being exposed to war violence he couldn’t handle. You don’t understand that all our valiant soldiers have been cannon fodder for all the immoral wars created by the greed of our business and political leaders .It’s a culture that virtually none of you rightwingers have ever questioned, and it has to end and it will end.

I doubt whether this will be published as I’ve noticed that The Blaze doesn’t always publish my comments. All I want to say is that we already have over 300,000,000 guns sitting around and with Obama’s reelection I’m sure sales will continue to surge. The more guns, the more accidental deaths as well as the occasional rampage. I live in New York City and people like me and in other large cities across the country think you gun lovers are infantile nuts. The vast majority of us don’t have guns, don’t want guns and don’t need guns. Yes, hunters should certainly be allowed to possess firearms and licensed owners should be able to have guns for security reasons, but most people, obviously, don’t need guns. The government is not going to confiscate your arms, that’s just rightwing, NRA propaganda that you people keep falling for, along with the political crap you accept uncritically. All we’re asking is for effective regulation on the sale and possession of firearms.

I read through these comments and have come to the conclusion that most of you people are mentally sick. Obama is certainly a flawed leader, but he is our leader and he’s backed up by other capable people like Biden and Hillary. The election made it clear that the Republicans have no leaders nor ideas. Whether you like it or not we are headed for a mixture of capitalism and socialism like they have in civilized countries like Scandinavia, Germany, the lowland countries, France, Britain, etc., except we will do it better. At this point the general public has no idea what rightwingers stand for, and whatever it is, it has been soundly rejected. Hopefully, out of the ashes of the Republican collapse, a phoenix will rise that represents the true spirit of conservatism.

Thank you Blaze and Glenn Beck for being so forthright and honest in your reporting about what’s really going to happen tomorrow. What amazes me is that there are still so many people who would want Mitt Romney to be President. It doesn’t say much good about the intelligence and morality of half the voters. Obama is far from perfect but we’re fortunate that we have such a competent and decent person who arrived on the scene after the disastrous Bush years. The Republicans were once a responsible party that exemplified the best of conservative values, but, sadly the Republican Party has become an extremist organization that is truly an embarrassment to American values. Also, who can forget the people that Bush brought into the government and caused so much death and destruction around the world and wrecked our economy – Cheney, Wolfowitz and the whole neo-con cabal, Attorney General Gonzalez, John Bolton and all those lawyers from fundamentalist schools. Thank God, that whole unfortunate chapter of American history has come to an end, never to be repeated.

Do you realize how inconsequential this whole Benghazi stuff is. You people have no idea how far out from reality your concerns are. Bush, Romney and the Tea Party have led you astray. Benghazi pales in comparison to what we have done in Iraq and with Romney we’ll now have an even bigger disaster when he gives the green light to Israel to bomb Iran. Wake up and see what will happen if Romney is elected.. If there’s an honest election Romney won’t be elected. If he is, out the window will go any protection we have aginst disasters like the one on the eastern seaboard. Fema will be gone, senior citizens will lose social secuirty, Medicaire, Medicaid, etc. Maybe some of you will wake up in time. If not you will be fools and tools which will lead us quickly to fascism like what happened in
    Weimar Germany..

C’mon they’re all BS-ers, except that there’s never been a BS-er like Romney, and yet you support him even though he has no use for the vast majority of Americans. Sounds psychotic to me.

I’m beginning to think that Matthews is right. Racism is what’s staring us in the face when it comes to describing much of the hatred against Obama. I ask you where is the strongest hatred of Obama coming from. It’s coming from what we use to call the Old Confederacy where they are obviously still smarting from Lyndon Johnson’s great civil rights legacy. That was the beginning of the Republicanization of the South. Democrats became Republicans and that coupled, with low educational and health levels has continued to fuel irrational anger and resentment against Democrats and other liberal progressive types. “Get your hands off our Medicaire and Social Security” about sums it all up. And the wonderment of it all is that you continue to vote for people who have done very little to ever help the vast majority, much more than the ‘fabled’ 47% of the population. Romney will be an even wilder ride than Bush.

My question to Ron Schiller and NPR is very simply: How on earth could you be taken in by such an obvious ruse? I’m a supporter and admirer of much of the programming on NPR. It’s unfortunate that nearly all of the Blaze readers probably do not listen to NPR. Most of the programming is non-political and even the political stuff is pretty moderately liberal to conservative. Yes, much of the programming is aimed at people who either have an education and/or a literate civil outlook. There’s also a lot of humorous stuff ranging from Garrison Keillor (“The Prarie Home Companion”) to “Car Talk”, both of which are very funny and enormously successful. From what I understand there are nearly 1000 NPR and university affiliated stations serving over 25 million people weekly and they cover a lot of rural and remote areas that have very little radio and news access. It’s a radio network that may not appeal to many people who listen or watch Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. Hopefully, the management at NPR will have learned a lesson to be less naive and more professional about people who approach them bearing gifts (Money!). My advice for Blaze readers and Glenn Beck fans is to try to listen to your local NPR outlet. You might be pleasantly surprisedat what you hear.
