I don’t think it was race-based, but given my 35 years experience working at a major University, that woman should not be advising or teaching students.
If I were her boss, I’d “set her free” to pursue another career path…

It can’t even stand still…has to march in place to keep it’s balance.
I’m used to watching horses for lameness, and that thing has a hitch in it’s giddy-up. Looks lame in the near side leg. And bet it couldn’t even step over an 8 inch pole without falling on it’s nose.
These robot inventors have a long way to go before they will compete with “organics”.
Maybe .. but it was a six seater with 4 aboard + 1 dog ... unless they had a ton of luggage (which it sounds like a weekend trip so unlikely) it should not have been over the weight load or even close.
PA-32 was not overloaded. Another low information reader post.
It's the total weight that matters. If there were too many passengers (there weren't) they leave off fuel. Since they crashed on takeoff, it wasn't a lack of fuel. See the fire?

Jumped down? How many farmers do you know…?

The critter was in pretty bad shape – obviously dehydrated. The guy was brave and kind to help it out – but lucky it didn’t have much strength left. A few missed strikes were all it could muster.
Normal behavior to expect from a moose. They ain’t pushovers. A whitetail deer would do the same.

Smart business move by Whole Foods, pure and simple. Feed the guys who may keep the raiders from burning down your store. More power to ‘em.

OK…What is that glowing thing on that woman’s wrist?

I couldn’t get through the last three. As far as I’m concerned, they don’t exist. Blech.
I have hope for J.J. Abrams – he “got” Star Trek. The two he did were close to perfect. Maybe he understands the original feel and scope of Star Wars too.

And I though Randy Quaid was the loose-cannon nutjob in the family…

So the Scooby Van is a black SS vehicle?
How fun is that.

The kid turned out to have issues, and no matter what kind of “Christian” you are, the safety and well-being of your own kids come first. If the social worker has adopted him, well, good for her. I hope it works out well for both of them.
"the love of many shall wax cold"
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. 10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Truly, where do you get this garbage? This makes even less sense than most of the trash you guys publish here.
Between the ads and pop-ups, and the annoying headlines, I dread opening the page anymore.
I wouldn’t be a police officer for a day – for a million bucks.

Obama kissing up to murdering Marxists. Same stuff, different day.

What in thee hell. Are they a family of “slow” people or something? Can’t imagine that some of them aren’t mentally deficient the way they acted.
I’m surprised that the cops didn’t start shooting earlier and send them all to their maker in one neat package. Geez, what a bunch of apes. (And I can say that because they were apparently white people…).
Had me at what thee hell Greta, not very social apes at that! Chorus...

Yep, looks a lot more like a mountain lion/cougar (with a cut-off tail) to me. A good meal is a good meal to any predator. They are willing to go the extra mile if they have to. Wild cats aren’t afraid of the water – and the shark might have been fairly shallow and caught it’s attention.
Cool pic…but it just goes to show, weird stuff happens in the wild all the time. You just need to be at the right place at the right time to see it.

Ya, well…bombing along at 40-50mph between a windbreak and a farm field, ya get what you ask for.
Lucky his neck wasn’t broken.

Rule #1. Don’t engage crazy people on the road.
Call in a description and location, then get on with your life. Let the cops figure out his license plate number.

Here last winter we had a guy and kids die because he had a generator running outside, but under the gooseneck overhang on a camping trailer. That one was bad enough…
