The news media should boycott those celebrating the lives of criminals.

Such people remind me of the rich man in Luke 16:19-31.

Proof “the justice system is broken”: no arrests for “inciting to riot”.

Proof the media is corrupt: “news” people who lie don’t become pariahs.

Proof the media is corrupt: Al (Tawana Brawley) Sharpton is give credibility.

Proof the media is corrupt: They wanted riots and spent zero time educating the low information voters about the lies that they helped spread initially by taking the word of an accomplice without doing fact checking, because it fit their narrative.

Considering Jesus’ position on Mt. Zion, one would have to be anti-Christian to be anti-Zionist.

President Obama appears to have a chapter of the Bible written about him!

Rosech – In your research don’t pick and choose too much. Check out Matthew 24:9 in context. In the current context, your judgement of Verum_Peto may have been a little hasty.

If you read the law carefully and note when it was passed and know a little history, you will know that it was part of a series of anti-Catholic laws that were passed around that time. The law doesn’t say crucifixes or crosses, but at the time it was common for Catholics to wear crucifixes (identifying a specific denomination), but less popular for Protestants (no particular denomination or sect or order) to wear a plain cross, and even so it would not apply to Protestants.

RipeForParody – you need to turn your brain on. It isn’t just trespassing when someone enters a fenced in yard to take something that someone else worked hard for.

If someone takes something that you worked hard for without buying it from you then they are treating you like a slaveowner treats a slave.

The Florida municipalities that have removed their red light cameras have done it for 2 reasons:
    1) Court challenges about being able to face your accuser and ticketing the car versus ticketing the driver.
    2) Increased rear end accidents caused by panic stoppers being followed by people who react just a little slower.

If I were the district attorney, I would have a series of meetings with civic leaders before the announcement and tell them that if they believe Officer Wilson should be indicted then they have believed partial truths that were twisted into lies and outright lies from Mr. Brown’s accomplice.

Apparently Ed Schultz is really “Sgt Schultz”.

He knows nothing or at least did not listen to when Glenn Beck said about the treatments he had not being covered by insurance, so it wouldn’t matter how much insurance he would have had!

A lot depends on your definition of “Christian”.

Most people who call themselves “Christian” do not fit the description in Matthew 7:21-29.

On Judgement Day, that is the only one that will matter!

Who taught these people to act like this?

It wasn’t MLK! It was people who claim to be his followers who sold out to power, rather than principle!

Reread the First Amendment. There is no such thing as “unconstitutional speech” in the Constitution, except maybe a government official telling you what you can or cannot say!

  • November 7, 2014 at 7:48pm

You apparently have not read Matthew 24:3-31 (and the corresponding passages in Mark and Luke) lately. Jesus’ teaching there is incompatible with the “Left Behind” teaching (heresy) on Jesus return.

Do you think the voting machines they have had for years in Chicago are better, where you can’t (or couldn’t if they have changed them) do a realistic recount?

At least with bubble sheet type ballots, you can run them through the counting machines again to make sure the vote totals match and that workers didn’t count enough ballots multiple times to make sure their favorites won.

If you think voter fraud doesn’t happen, read the book “Ballot Box 13″ about the election in 1948 that put LBJ in the Senate.

Saying “God bless you!” to a Democrat voter is inappropriate, especially considering what they have given us! [end sarcasm]
Seriously, if Person B would curtail the Constitutional Rights of Person A (such as Person A exercising their First Amendment Rights), should Person B’s vote be allowed? Are Constitutional Rights subject to votes and vetoes?

I don’t like the term “neocon”, because being short for neoconservative, it Implies that they are a type of conservative, when they really are more of a type of “progressive”. “Not-so-liberal-progressive” would be a better description.
