  • Guess What Bloomberg Might Ban Next…

    February 8, 2013 at 1:41am

Styrofoam is an inert, petroleum-based product. Petroleum that has not been pumped from below ground has been there for eons and if untapped will remain there indefinitely. Petroleum can seep onto land or into water. It can kill plants and animals and leave soil barren. Petroleum that has been processed into styrofoam does not seep or poison. It is inert. So what possible harm can styrofoam do in a landfill? So what if it takes years to break down? Seriously… what are they going to do… dig up the landfills to plant posies???? It is a great product. Just leave it alone and stick it in a landfill when you’re done using it. What exactly does it harm?

  • Dear Muslims of Dearborn: It’s time for y’all to kick yer sandals off an’ sit a spell whilest I ‘splain how we roll here in America-by-God. In the land of the free, we are free to eat just about anything we want… or not.

Personally, I am not particularlly fond of lima beans. So when my buddy Joe opened “Joe’s Lima Bean-O-Rama”, I did NOT barge in, open my overly sensitive palate and demand he serve beans that I like or face the my attorney, “Bellowin’-Beauford” MacBean, Esquire. Hell no! I acted like a real AMERICAN and exercised my freedom to take my repast at a joint that served food I LIKE. See how that ‘personal freedom’ thing works?

In conclusion, (as Bellowin’ Beauford would say), if your grumpy ol’ Immam says ‘Thou shalt not eat McDonald’s'… THEN EAT SOMEPLACE ELSE! Allah Almighty! And you wonder why we don’t like you. Don’t always be forcing your neighbors to do it your way or die. Here in American, such behavior is considered to be just plain rude.

  • The car is overheating because the thermostat is shot. Politicians gather around to have their pictures taken with the car and the new muffler they plan to install in order to fix the problem. Hence my opinion that it “won’t make a difference.”
