Now, the baby is a real cutie pie, but I could not help noticing the smile each time the Mommy stopped for a breath, and that the baby’s tearful reaction increased each time Mommy started up again. If the baby was hearing it any louder than I was– could definitely cause a weird ear reaction, like when the volume on your headphones is too high or the bass is too loud. Adorable baby though.

    Well what do you know–
Someone else knows the McTavish song!

Matthews KNOWS how clueless his viewers are.
He knows no one is going to question just why he didn’t ask these…uh…BASIC questions– like…uh…a year ago….

Either something else is going on here, or Matthews is dumber than his audience.

Bill Whittle’s Afterburner piece “The Lynching” is also a great way to introduce a low information person to this issue.

“Is not” and “will not” Those are the words Carney used. He did not use the past tense.
He did not say “the United States did not monitor….”
For that matter, “monitoring” does not mean the same thing as”listening.”

Switzerland is FULL of wealthy “people of color” (Middle Eastern, African, North African) with hefty bank accounts in the notoriously “discreet” banking system there.
Businesses dealing in luxury goods (like, just about all of them) thrive thanks to all of these wealthy dark skinned people.
Oprah is pitifully under-educated and blinded to reality by her own ENORMOUS self-image.
Or, perhaps she is just made up a story she believed Americans would buy because of their erroneous vision of Swiss wealth as being white….

    Good one. Needed a chuckle.

Maybe its his parents’ politics. Who did they vote for?

(How much do taxpayers pay for this woman?)

Gotta wonder how she gets along with Moochelle… all of those “family” dinners and all…
Could be some comedy in there– two bossy women eating dinner with the world’s biggest ego.

Just all magic and pixie dust… a regular fairy godmother.

I mean the one about the teleprompter mix up, KEVINTAMPA. Good one.

    Nice, very nice.

BIKKIBOO, not enough money in it for them. New plans have to be based on fear– to assure compliance with expensive “alternatives.”

Remember a couple years ago it was not “climate change,” but “global warming.”
Strangely, the change in vocabulary has gone largely unnoticed by the low infos. Instead they are simply happy and proud to “know enough” to use the new and improved vocabulary, no questions asked.
In the “global warming” days, there were actually people considering the necessity of artificially blocking out the sun –to cool down the Earth. Less sun, less plants to absorb CO2. How idiotic.

“…and we have learned about it from the media.” –Lavrov

A phrase right out of the WH’s Let’s-Mock-the-People playbook!
How many times have we heard THAT one at a press conference?

    Nice one Sergey.
I’m sure he said that with a smirk.

Well, JH, what really bothers me is that there is this big media hype, big New York lawyers and all. They are trying to make a point, they are trying to gain something for transgender people. Fine, I really have nothing against it– but all we are given is that this kid likes pink, wanted to dress like his sisters, and became depressed if he didn’t. Perhaps there is more, perhaps there is not.

I would not dream of judging a transgender person, but also I resent those who would have me blindly be happy for this child without knowing any significant details of the case.
Perhaps it is great. Perhaps it is a tragedy in the making.

Oops! I misread the story. Sister Lily was around when he was 5 months old. Still.
Maybe the other two triplets are girls.
Maybe he likes pink. Maybe he identifies with his sister(s) because he spent the first nine months of his life in close quarters with them.
What made his parents decide he was now going to “be” a boy?
Strange we don’t have any real details.

  • June 24, 2013 at 3:57pm

Oh and yeah, now HE is getting all of the attention.
Now why would he want to change anything?

  • June 24, 2013 at 3:55pm

Probably wanted to get “fixed” once his female sister came along, and she was getting all of the attention….

China and Russia know who the real spies are.
They also know that this goes way beyond security.
Security concerns are just a drop in the bucket– compared to what NSA mega-spying is able to collect on all aspects of the global economy– science, technology, banking systems, international business workings….
    This ain’t about following a few criminals around for the security of Americans;
China knows it, and Russia knows it.

“…The second gathers audio, video, email, photographic and Internet search usage of foreign nationals overseas….”

Actually, the description of targeted people I keep seeing is “non US person”…which means…?
Why not use the perfectly specific and useful term “US citizen?”
Perhaps targeting”non US persons” means that anyone not physically in the US is fair game, including American citizens out working in the big wide world. Just think of all the international business and banking details, technology and trade secrets the NSA feels they have a right to collect– depending on their definition of a “non US person”….If THAT isn’t espionage, what is?
