  • That is 100% true. They are also sucking up our tax dollars on Medicaid, or what makes me even more mad they will be 40 years old on Medicare because they are “disabled”

  • I am Catholic too & I agree with you. The US Bishops were one of the 1st groups to support Obamacare, then of course had to whine about abortion & birth control later. There is no way that they were ignorant enough to believe that abortion & birth control would not be included in Obamacare. I am fed up.

  • At soybomb315 – I agree with you, they are not the Greatest Generation, they are the greediest generation. Sucking up Medicare dollars but not bothering to take care of themselves. Getting stents and open heart surgery but not bothering to get off their lazy **** for some exercise or considering that maybe if they didn’t eat crap every day they would not be costing tax payers thousands and thousands of dollars. We are paying for them to live a life of contentment and everything we have paid into the system will be gone.

  • The only thing that they need to regulate is what people on welfare are able to purchase. I am a licensed nutritionist in healthcare – it is appalling what the vast majority of the welfare population purchases with OUR money. We have no choice in our money being “donated” to welfare recipients. The harsh reality is that many people are on welfare because they make poor choices. Why should they be able to buy whatever they want w/ food stamps? They load up on regular soda, bacon, sausage & lots of sweets. Then we have to pay for their high blood pressure, knee surgery due to obesity, diabetes, heart disease & stroke. We are slaves to the welfare class.

  • at Raging_Waters: Very good point! Unfortunately they are already spending their food stamp money on Little Debbies and wash it down with tons of soda. Then they complain they don’t get enough money for food and that it costs too much to eat healthy. Have they ever checked the price on a bag of apples or carrots? Of course we are also paying for their diabetes and cholesterol meds. Later we get to pay for their open heart surgery or nursing home stay after a stroke. Time for personal responsibility.

  • Mrs Sinclair states the truth, I appreciate her courage in posting her well written letter. The comment by Delores is also right on – women in combat is not good for our soldiers or our country.

    In reply to GrumpyCat.

I could not agree more – wish more people would just stop & think to consider this. Whenever I mention this to a lib and even many republicans, they have never even considered the idea. Many just do what they have always done, think what they have always been taught or indoctrinated to believe.

  • If we are ever going to get a conservative in the White House again & in other areas of government we need to articulate just how badly welfare of all types are abused and they simply do not work. I am a licensed nutritionist in healthcare – you would scream if you knew just how food stamp money is spent and how the healthcare that is provided is not appreciated at all. Many even get a free cab ride to their appointment, sometimes this means that patients who have dementia or mental illness come to appointments alone. We would all have better health care at a much lower cost if the government completely got out of it. And don’t even get me started on school lunch!
