  It’s because your monthly bill is subsidising all those other stupid networks that wouldn’t stand a chance if it had to stand on it’s own. pretty much like NPR in the radio world. Without governement support it would be history. There is no free market taking place in cable companies, that’s for sure, and they know it. They know which shows are bing watched and which ones aren’t but drop the losers?……. no way.

  Who watches them anymore with weather apps on our phones? Weather channel lost it’s focus years ago! Local news channels have more weather than the weather channel does. They are toast. They will be asking for a government bail out soon.

  Absolutely fed up with sending $85 to Direct TV for a bunch of “paid advertising” channels, stupid cookding shows, stupid “reality” (really?) shows, and stupid sports shows! WWE? are you kidding? Hells kitchen? really? I’m paying $85 a month for about two decent channels and those are starting to become questionable. And whats with the commercials? No, it’s time to dump the monopoly on TV and return the selection to the free market forces. WE, the viewers will pick. No longer will we support the garbage some networks force down our throats!!

  Mr. Carrey should stick to his own trade and work on that. Seems he needs still has room to work on acting because he’s sure acting like an idiot regarding an issue he has no knowledge of. He’s just spouting off without knowing anything about it. Laws don’t keep kids safe. If they did, there would be zero pedaphile’s anywhere in America. Since there still are, and kids are molested, then laws to not protect children. That dude needs to get a REAL live, not one in Hollywierd.

  It’s interesting that no one asked how much of his “stimulus” went off shore!! Recent news reports indicate as much as 80% of the stimulus funds ended up going to foreign owned companies. Nice, real nice. We CANNOT allow this to continue. “IF” there is another term for the big zero, there will be NO middle class left! Just his rich buds and the rest of us who have to pay his bills. Thats not the America I know and love.

  What ticked me off was how the media made very sure we understood it was an African-American, and a white hispanic. What the hell is a white hispanic? They are either hispanic, or they are white. And why the focus?
  Additionally, what the hell business is it of obamas? It’s a local crime scene, just like every other local crime scene in America. I don’t see obama sticking his big fat nose into any of those!! Especially when a white kid is killded! This guy is not going to be happy until he has Americans killing Americans! Just another one of his ploys at “Community organizing”. If anything, he should be leading Americans into being calm and let the process do it’s work! Wish he was this hopped up over Islamists killing folks!
