  the theory of evolution is indeed a theory.. one that has been tested and retested and the evidence seems to support the theory.. much like gravity is a theory.. tested over and over… can anyone name some evidence for creationism or intelligent design that is compelling. evidence that can be tested.. and retested… dont want to use emotional arguments here.. dont try to shoot down evolution.. prop up your own theory with evidence..would love to hear some evidence that is supported by testing and data… that would make the debate interesting at least..

  nicely said Third…. allow me to add to you list if i may be so bold… this creator of utter perfection places us on a rock in the middle of nowhere… 99 percent of all the species he has already created, are gone… so its just us and some animals basically.. here is where it gets great… ha ha… he placed us less than 100 million miles from a sun that we all rely on for life…. that thing is like a ticking time bomb with occasional cataclysmic little gifts called solar flares which could fry everthing to a crisp just as quick as you please…. so, while we are crossing our fingers hoping that never happens, we still know for a fact that the stupid thing is gonna burn out eventually anyway leaving our little home here quite uninhabitable… and to add insult to injury, some time after it does die the whole stinking galaxy will start colliding with andromeda pretty much ruining everything… yup.. quite an engineer we got there… we need a new planet soon, a new sun eventually, and then a whole new galaxy at some point… where the hell do you find a realtor for that?? Intelligent design indeed……

  Sure He could have intervened in the shooting situation but He didn’t. He loves us so much more than that.
  Wow… thats the problem in a nutshell… grown, intelligent, people actually can make themselve accept a statement like that…. my sense of reason as well as my ideas of right and wrong just wont let me believe that. Some god you got there….. good thing he doesnt love us even more i guess….

  cant really tell who is answering me because the posts are not in a logical order.. but to those who have its the same answer.. one guy said cause im not the boss he is!!! if i was the boss i would not let children suffer.. if i was all powerful, i would have struck that guy with lighning or something and everyone could have had a merry christmas… if the answer is that he chose to bring those kids home to his loving arms, then i say again, SHAME on him… those kids had every right to live a long happy life.. how dare he decide what parents get to spend the rest of their lifes grieving the loss of a little child… frankly, his will and his rules, SUCK…… we need a new leader if thats the one we have..

  how can anyone accept such an excuse.. you truly have to suspend all that we know about what is right and what is wrong…. i will explain… by most peoples acceptance of what god is and what he can do then explain this please… god knew this was gonna happen.. he was there when it happened… he watched the whole thing happen… and he did nothing…. SHAME ON HIM!!! if you are the only person/group/divine entity around that has the potential to help save 20 children, or anyone for that matter, from sudden painful death, and you stand by and watch it happen because your POLICY is not to get involved… then shame on you… i dont understand how anyone could worship such an entity.. god should be ashamed of himself…. He LET that happen… if that were a person on the street and they did not intervene, they would be ostricised for not doing what was right… what we all know is right… how is he not held to the same standard?? or a higher standard for that matter.. mysterious ways is no excuse for allowing such slaughter… if you can help, you should help… its a simple moral code that we all learn as children….. what am i missing?? what reason could god possibly give, that is good enough to allow 20 kids to be slaughted.. i cant think of an excuse that would be acceptable to kind and caring people….

  Even the priests do not truly believe in god. If you asked any molester priest if he would have offended in sight of the victims father they would all say no. If they actually believed, they would recognize that they ARE offending in sight of the lord they so worship. Their fear of the victims father is real and serious. their fear of the lord is non existent. The same goes for the ones that covered up for them. They would never have done that if they really believed that god was watching. This is my first post on blaze and no i am not a religious person. just seems odd to me.
