    “best friends step-aunt” ????? Geez…

It’s about getting money to support the station. Even Glenn said once that he would take money from (some group he disagrees with) for capitalist reasons. Smart folks can discern the difference between ads and shows.

I learned this the hard way. A conservative talk radio station ran ads from a swindler and I fell for it. I then realized that it’s not up to the station to proof the advertisers.

The state plays a mean game of poker. They hold a lot more chips than the “living man” does. And they don’t like to lose.

I’m all for rational evaluations, but the fact that these parents have ONLY said some choice words and gone through legal channels tells me what I need to know. They are above board in this case. Beyond reproach. Hell, they followed their doctors to the very hospital who took the girl away from them.

Remember: they followed her doctors to Boston. Who does that fault point to? If anyone, it’s the doctors who should be scrutinized. They didn’t know about the reputation of Boston Children’s? (which was the propensity to place some children in DCF custody)?

If you “haven’t really followed this story”, you really should keep your “don’t judge” comments out of it.

This should strike the fear in ALL parents and family members of the sick.

    It is completely sickening.

@Alan– most bully kids learn it from their jerk parents. Not all, but most.

    Bullies SUCK. That is all.

    My first thought was:

“These are the minds that will rule the country when I am 85? We are all doomed”

Graham needs to GO! That guy is a schiester. I am ashamed to say that I voted for him in his first run. I am repenting of that to this day.

As many as it takes until Dear Leader leaves office.

My brain always visits the question: Why would a parent, in this day and age, admit to researchers that they spank their kids? Don’t they know they will be on a list somewhere, that some day, our tyrannical government will want to see?

With all the CPS crap going on these days, I want complete privacy of what goes on in my home! You know; like no one can know sometimes my kids get chocolate donuts with their breakfast. Or banana splits for dinner :)

The only time mine left the chapel was to get a spanking.

While they were toddlers, we went to a remote area where no one could hear them screaming, and they sat on my lap for a good hard wrestle until they decided that sitting quietly on mommy’s lap in the chapel was more fun.

All of mine are model congregants. Being reverent parents helps. What a novel idea!

    I second that, Raydoc.

Most of these holier-than-thou snarky statements grate on my nerves and send me packing from the conversation.

We presume to know God, (or tell Him how He should be!), we will be GREATLY surprised, when we are dead, that things were not much like we thought.

Nevadans vote Democrat in heavily populated areas: Vegas and Reno (right next-door to CA).

There, you have it! A very good chance that he voted for Obummer.

If cell phones are still ringing, that plane landed safely somewhere. This is a stolen plane. The who and what will be known- unfortunately, it will be after it fills the criminal purpose for which it was stolen.

I’m not sure our imaginations will be able to predict the horror that someone is cooking up.

I know you are speaking from your own experience, but you are awfully assured that the wrinkles on this mother’s face is due to substance abuse. A stress-filled life will cause the same wrinkles. As much as I believe parents influence their children, there are kids in this world who, with the best parenting, still turn out to be brats.

Ok, guesswho, I’m going to guess. You’re a troll here to convince us our government is good. Well, you’re too late. If you knew what the government is capable of doing, you’d shut up real quick. Unless, of course, you are one of them?

People who serve in the armed forces are good people. Lots of gov employees are good people. The ones pulling the strings are NOT.

Those in power are not working in our best interest. This story and the Justina story are proof of that. NO ONE used common sense in neglecting that girl until she was so sick that she could have died. No politician stood up for what was right until the light was shining so brightly on these two cases that the voice of good Americans had to shout. What’s up with that, huh?

Where is the “good” in not rescuing Ambassador Stevens? There were good soldiers willing to risk it all to go in and save those men. What good did it do? And then we get to hear, “what difference, at this point, does it make?” !!!! What good came out of selling guns to Mexican drug cartels?

I have acquaintances who will comment on the Oscars before world issues. They are not bad people, they are just in the “it’s all okay” denial. They cannot comprehend the evil atrocities of men through the ages. And our dictators in this country are doing a good job of hiding the ugly truth from their rose-colored lenses. Where your “church leader” comment came from, I don’t know. Glenn doesn’t talk like that. Better listen more oft

I have no idea why the DOJ made a 180.

What I do know is that you are making a lot of assumptions about God’s involvement or lack thereof. The HSLDA’s involvement didn’t get the family’s future assured. All their “workings” weren’t enough to keep them here legally. This was either divine intervention, or a political move by the DOJ. Which, the latter is ACTING LIKE GOD THESE DAYS.

Grover, your “it’s definitely not what anybody who was really doing that would ever say.” deduction is quite off.

That Woody would use a scenario of bedding 15 12-year-old girls shows precisely where his mind was. Anyone who thinks child molestation is morally wrong and disgusting would never use that example to describe his uncovered “open-minded” sexual trysts. There are many other acts to be done.

The fact that his perception of *other people’s* reaction is what also disturbs. Like we would nonchalantly say ” yeah, I always knew that about him.” He is a sick individual. Your analysis calls into question your comprehension skills. And you might want to check on your character meter while you’re at it. I think it’s broken.

Can you provide a link to this quote?

I am having trouble finding *any* quotes from Woody Allen. My image search did find what appears to be a recent picture of him with a young Asian girl on his lap at what appears to be an auditorium. Maybe his adopted daughter with Soon-Yi? Her body language was not positive.

Observation: No image of him with a woman showed the woman with a smile…even one where he was sweetly kissing his wife on the cheek. She had the best dead-pan look I’ve ever seen. If this guy is not guilty, may I stub my toe.

He’s not even funny. Just looks like a nerdy, unfunny weasel. Always has…
